Browne will fight Towers i think and beat him. Towers would be well advised to get in the ring for a warm up bought first if he is to have much chance.

Most Aussie boxing fans want Browne to fight Alex Leapai, but that is unlikely in the near future.

In the meantime, Browne should seek out a UK based bout v Towers.

Are you Australian? There is really nothing between these guys. They are both limited. Towers might have the edge just on physical attributes.

No I am not Australian and I agree both are limited but Brown has been a lot more active of late and is improving hence why I think he will beat Towers especially if Towers goes in without a warm up.

Watched Browne a few times, he's never going to be a world beater, but he's entertaining and has power. I'd like to see this fight happen

Yes we have. I gave a clear description in the 5th post on this very thread. Please ensure that you read ALL posts in a thread, otherwise vital information will be missed.

Having researched it further, I have uncovered other Australian words which are similar in meaning to Boofhead, these being Drongo, Grommet, Nong, Ocker, Mug, Mongrel, Ratbag, Wombat and Goof.

To my dissapointment I found that the term "Larrikin" is more jovial in nature than boofhead and thus must be excluded from the above list.

I once told Michael Gomez he was favourite to lose againt Carl Johanssen, he didnt take it too well. Infact it went down like a fart in a spacesuit. So i cant imagine how Richard Towers would react to being called a boofhead, and being told Lucas Browne would KO him!

Think i'll stay hidden behind my keyboard thank you.

I know lucas is limited too, but I just don't see towers ko'ing him.

if towers wins, it'd be by decision.

just hope its a good spectacle, and they punch the crap out of each other :)

That is a stretch of the imagination. As much as I am a friend and fan of the Fury family, Hughie hasn't shown he has the ability to defeat men at even the domestic level. I think he does have the potential to do something great, but not at this stage. I would venture to say Australia's Joseph Parker at this stage is superior than Hughie.

Towers was awful and browne just clubbed him into submission. Not a great fight but interesting enough. Both are limited, but I like Browne's attitude. Nice guy who would fight anyone. I reckon he could do Pricey for the commonwealth. Still reckon they should throw hughie fury in with him.

If Price lands clean I agree, but the same goes if Browne lands clean.

I doubt Price would take the fight. As a former Olympian and suppossed world title prospect he would be expected to deal with a virtual novice like Browne easily. If he didn`t beat him his career would be in tatters.

I have no illusions as to Browne`s limitations, but he will get in there and give it a go with roughouse tactics, which Pricey may be vunerable to.
