Del Boy at it again ....
Thought this was just a publicity stunt but word from the island is it's for real.
Cipprianis Ibiza. Del boy had a pop at Klitchko.
Will that man never learn ?

What a plonker.
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
Sad thing is, doing these crazy things may get him a shot at Klit. Warren must love it really.
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
Oh poor Saint Wladmir.
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
Did he spit water in Wlad's face to cool him down after an hour busting some shapes on the Ibiza dancefloor ?

I'll cream myself if Wlad/Chisora gets made. Chisora's pressure style makes Wlad shit himself and Dereck is tough enough to negotiate the negligable amount of right hands Wlad bothers to throw these days. Not sure Dereck would win (if only he punched harder) but he would do better than Haye did.
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
I would fancy del boy to take him in a street fight.....a boxing match no chance tho!

I think he would be more offensive than Haye which would be why he gets KO,d at somepoint after the midway stageRiddick Blowe wrote:I'll cream myself if Wlad/Chisora gets made. Wlad would destroy Chisora. You say Chisora's pressure style would trouble Wlad and it in itself would but if you havent been watching Wlad's fights for the last atleast 3 years you'll notice that as soon as an opponent gets close to him or on the inside he ties up and gets away with it.Riddick Blowe wrote:I'll cream myself if Wlad/Chisora gets made. The problem with Del boy against Wlad is that Derek cant get inside, he's not a smart enough boxer to duck and dive moving the upper body and head whilst throwing punches, he either does one or the other, okay against somebody that doesnt hit hard like Malik Scott, or somebody as slow as an ox like Helunius... not so great against the best in the world by a long distance.

What relevance are a bunch of fat old bums to Del Boy? Okay Haye bombed Chisora but styles make fights. Chisora is better than all these guys except Haye, who didn't try.columbo wrote:Wlad would destroy Chisora. But bobbing and weaving and throwing a lot is exactly Del's style. He landed plenty on Vitali and was hardly troubled at all. People say today's Wlad is better than today's Vitali but I don't see much reason to think that at all. The difference is Vitali can handle a bit of pressure whereas it bothers Wlad immensely.funtime wrote:The problem with Del boy against Wlad is that Derek cant get inside, he's not a smart enough boxer to duck and dive moving the upper body and head whilst throwing punches, he either does one or the other, okay against somebody that doesnt hit hard like Malik Scott, or somebody as slow as an ox like Helunius... not so great against the best in the world by a long distance.
Anyone who predicts a Wlad KO is basically saying Wlad would start throwing the right hand with regularity, something he hasn't done for years, and as soon as he glimpses some pressure and shots coming his way he would try and tie up and spoil and do everything he can to throw as little as possible while winning in the most boring way. And as long as Del keeps working he has a shot at piling up rounds.
The Del that showed up against Vitali would have had a great chance to win on workrate alone. Could he win now? Who knows, but his style means he has a better shot than nearly anyone else.
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
He threw plenty of right hands against Wach. But then Chisora is not such a static target. It would be interesting as long as it lasted, but Chisora doesn't hit hard enough to get Wlad out of there, and the reverse isn't true.Riddick Blowe wrote:But bobbing and weaving and throwing a lot is exactly Del's style. Samuel Peter was probably a better fighter than Del Boy and he still lost to Wlad twice.loaded_gloves wrote:What relevance are a bunch of fat old bums to Del Boy? It's a saying rather than a joke. When people keep saying 'if this, if only that' on here then I'm gonna keep saying it to point out the absurdity of what they are saying.columbo wrote:Repeating the same materialjameswilson wrote:If only my Auntie had bollocks she'd be my Uncle.dr_devious wrote:I'd fookin love it if Del boy beat Vlad, cant see it but at least he'd give it a go

x2 What did Del do? I've read the article but I cant see how he's been a "plonker".Benelio wrote:Oh poor Saint Wladmir.
"Dereck Chisora was involved in an amazing nightclub brawl with Wladimir Klitschko" Surely if it was so AMAZING they would have had eyewitnesses saying this that an other and photos to go along with it, but nothing just the photo of Del slapping Vitali and a photo of the hero Wlad celebrating in front of his fans after a win, typical...
Re: Del Boy at it again ....
I understand where you're coming from, but Chisora is not fast enough or good enough to do what you're saying. Wlad's a good athlete and should have no problem keeping his distance; something he has just about mastered now.Riddick Blowe wrote:But bobbing and weaving and throwing a lot is exactly Del's style. He doesnt have the punching power of Frazier either though.danconnollyeire wrote:yepAsterix wrote: I understand where you're coming from, but Chisora is not fast enough or good enough to do what you're saying. I don't get how boxing can be your full time job, yet you aren't as slim and fit as you could be. esp when fighting for world titles! If he had Fraziers fitness in todays HW scene, he wouldn't be far off being a world beater

Vlad will take his soul with the jab and then knock him out late rounds or cruise to a points victory. A regulation Vlad win. Chisora has nothing to trouble Vlad with
