Nicky Cook injured - EBU defence on 18th off

Post by jomothepure »

Cook has injured his hands, so his fight with Voronin will be postponed at the very least. Matchroom will have to pluck someone out of the bag to keep the card on.

Incidently, Soto will be fighting Jorge Solis in his first WBC 'Interim' defence on the 17th December

That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing this and was considering going to it.

IVE A BAD FEELING BOUT COOKS HANDS,
I have an ominous gut reaction whenever he is lined up for a fight and reckon this could (jeez i hope im wrong cos i like Nicky) that his hand trouble is gonna cost him big at some point of his career.

How far away do you think these guys are from challenging at the top level? Two years? Maybe one of them will take out an older Harrison, provided he keeps his title until then?

Cooks hands are a worry particularly given his young age.
