Matthysse wins comfortably in my view. Sharmba Mitchell was a damn solid contender at his best, but he was never an elite Championship level fighter in my view. Just below it, but not elite.

Matthysse in my opinion is not elite either (yet). Matthysse could not even beat Judah convincingly. That fight was as close as it gets. Even Garcia defeated Judah way more convincingly. Yes he has power but someone with good boxing ability would defeat him. I wait to reserve my judgement on Matthysse until he defeats someone elite, he has not done that yet. Garcia would be a good start and that fight is 50/50 for me too. Matthyse opens wide when he trows the left hook and is Garcia is a good counter-puncher who is going to give Matthysse a tough time. I would be my money on Abril to defeat Matthysse, and with Mitchell is 50/50 fight for me at this point.
