Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce

Post by sugarsweetpryce »

Even tho my record is hit and miss.i believe im much better than my record.fights at short notice, higher weights, and not taking sport serious as been my downfall.since teaming up with jamie arthur im now training hard and at my best.frankie gavin is quality but i believe if i can get into the ring with him on sept 21st their will be a New welter weight champion. Sugars Time.

Nothing against you mate but id rather see him against Matthew Hatton. If you believe you could provide a better test then I wouldnt have an issue with it.

You are a very good boxer and a good hitter when you can be arsed Bradley - a lad I know who boxed at a highish level really rated you years ago; if you got a run together then the fight would be a decent go; Frankie wins when he has things go bad for him and you've not been able to do that. I don't think that you'll be able to beat him but if you get a good payday then fair play to you - after Frankie moves on up then you may be in the mix at welter though you've left it late :TU:

Two questions Bradley if that's alright? First off do you think you can do Welter alright now seeing as you've been fighting at light middle and middle lately and secondly how do you think you'd do against Matt Hatton?

Was a good fight was there watching it, you was in the opponents corner and I did have you winning by more then a round, most of the rounds was close and both was landing Big shots..

Credit to Bradley for wanting the fight, it doesn't seem like many do, but I'd like to see Frankie in with someone of a higher class, someone like Hatton or Lynes. If Bradley's the only option then I'd be happy to see it, but it has to be remembered that he's lost 5 of his last 8 and hasn't made 10st 7lbs for 8 years.

Frankie has said no different and has been willing to take on anyone out in front of him. Brad is a mismatch, as are most. Only Brook can challenge him at this level.

Bradley is a warrior & a under achiever IMO , but didnt live the life got miles on the clock & is a backwards step in terms of progression for Gavin who needs solid proposition to sharpen his tools against. The better the opposition the better Gavin is. Purdy if he can make weight would be a good run out for Gavin. Price needs some scalps before he can call Gavin out as Gavin don't need to trade on names .i think over then purdy or hatton Gavin needs euro/ international level next & slowly world title level is slowly becoming wide open & frankie needs to be patient, dedicated & listen to frank & has a great chance of lifting a crown

I wish Purdy or Hatton would box him, i would have my biggest ever bet on a Gavin win. Both are tailor made for him.

my opinion of frankie is he slmiler to billy joe saunders,a tidy boxer.at middle i was unable to hurt him but at welter i believe i can cause a massive upset and give frankie all sorts of problems.if fight happens,Great but iv had tough career and have never had anything on my terms.7 weeks training/welter weight/frankie gavin is my wish list tho.fingers crossed,Sugars time

Not many can look good against Lomax but imo there wasn't much technique involved by either boxer both just slugged it out, was a much better fight then i thought it would be, it was a good result but i wouldn't say he looked excellent, both was at the same level which made it a great fight...

If it has to be a British defence then imo it has to be Purdy, Commonwealth then Kevin Bizier, haven't seen him but his record looks good.. Don't think Warren would be able to get the EBU Champion out of Italy...

I think Bundu would travel for the right price, I doubt he's making huge amounts in Italy and Warren has been known to take a few risks and fork out to bring big opponents over.

With the greatest of respect this fight does not take Frankie Gavin to the fringes of a world title fight or an eliminator. Cant therefore see any point in this match being made. Pryce versus Heffron is more realistic for both fighters.

M. Hatton stopped Lomax in a round, he is clearly the best next opponent for Gavin.
