Eddie Hearn and Amir Khan have a meeting

Post by lefty »

I saw a picture of them both on twitter and Khan saying they had a great meeting. I hope we dont see the Brook vs Khan before Brook fights for a world title!

Well he could but it's the kind of thing that makes me and the other naysayers annoyed because all we've heard is he wanted to fight Alexander for the world title and now it's looking like he's cashing out against Khan. The part that would most annoy me about it is after Quiggs last fight Hearn talked about the offer he received from FW about fighting Frampton and he said all fighters are in the game to win a world title and that Quigg has a shot at the WBA title against Salinas and he wasnt going to back out of that fight to fight Frampton with nothing on the line. Well if he did that with Brook. It would be hypocrisy at it's worst IMO.

Honestly, do you actually believe that Khan vs Alexander or Brook vs Alexander is bigger than = Brook vs Khan ?

I wont call him anything other than a top man, if he puts that fight together to the satisfaction of both men.

Can't argue about the size of the fight but it's just another Brook non-fight. They're trying to fight a fighter with no fight at the weight, is he ever going to actually fight a top welterweight?

If this fight is made I seriously hope Khan sparks him, but I imagine it'll be the other way round unfortunately. Then we'll have months of hearing how good Kell is before he gets back to fighting nobodies in Sheffield talking about how big his next opponent will be. Yawn.

Khan will fight Alexander Eddie has denounced the meeting saying the pic was doctored.

Would love this fight to happen. Couldn't give a toss whether a world title is linked to the fight or not. Fighters make fights not title belts.

It's not about how big it is, it's about him proving himself and not ducking out of a fight for a payday! If he really fancies himself against Alexander why cant he fight him and then win the belt if he's good enough and then fight Khan?

I know with the comment'' Photo Shopped'' on reflection I assume Eddie meant he had been shopped for having the meeting.
Maybe they talked about the possibility of Eddie managing him and or joint promotions.
Either way its a good step in the direction of making the Brook fight which can only be good if your a Brook fan.
With this in mind the Senchenko fight will see how Kell deals with a very accurate fast jab a skill he must have to deal with Khan.
Movement as well as power I have rewatched Senchenko on you tube he is a pretty good fighter not saying I wouldn't of preferred a bigger name but im warming to the fight.

I'm concerned with this line of questioning.

As stated several times already my old sailor, I'm a heterosexual father of two.

I have no desire to mate with you nor engage in the exchange of explicit pictures of other males.

It's your fanboy idoltry of Froch that makes me question this.

I'd take GOmez's respect for Froch over the uninformed opinions of the recent influx.
It's all subjective.

Is that another way of saying that everyones viewpoint is equally valid?
