No it's not. GOmez has an informed opinion.
There's a difference between being informed though and hanging off the guys nuts.

I can see Columbos point there. Whilst GOmez is undoubtedly close to Froch, I wouldn't be surprised if he is in his inner circle, he is not going to put things on here when things aren't going great. I wouldn't even be surprised if he is a silent pr man for him, the type he commented on the other day in a different thread.

There are some posters on here that are personal friends of fighters, sometimes they can give informed critiques and insights and other times any questions or disagreement is viewed with derision or hostility; I'm not that bothered because I've got a shocking memory but I can appreciate it upsets others.

Continuing the fair theme... To be fair, Froch has backed up a lot of GOmez's boasts over the years. Many other friends of boxers have disappeared with egg on their faces when it's all gone wrong.

Well after losing a lot of face re Brook and his next opponent this is what I've been told.
Khan v Mosley October 2013, then Khan v Mayweather 2014 in the UK.
It is a fact that serious negotiations are underway for Mayweather to visit the UK in 2014 and do a few dinner shows.
As the dust has settled now I can say it was Sugar Shane that I was told was Brook's opponent.

What a riveting opponent that is for Khan...... Saying that though, Mosley still has the pop to knock him out. Hearn is full of shit though. He's been saying that Senchenko was his first pick from the beginning but aside from what you just said there. He also said in an interview with Ifilm how Mosley wanted too much money.

The punch that Mosley rocked Mayweather with would have left Khan doing chicken dances for a fortnight. Id stick a wee £20 on mosley by stoppage if the odds were decent.

Senshenko wasn't first choice mate. I was confident Mosley would be signed and sealed and ended up looking a trump. It was cash that meant it didn't happen. If you want loyalty honesty and truthfulness buy a dog.

Chance to see Floyd in UK would be huge.
