That doesn't tell the full story though, does it?

Audley knocked him out in the last round, with a somewhat fortuitous punch. And there were many who thought Audley had it lost if he hadn't have knocked him out too.

Obviously, I'm not saying Sprott lays the smack down on Chisora. Chisora should win. But for an opponent at short-ish notice, Sprott has experience and would give Del Boy a decent fight before eventually losing.

Isn't that the sort of opponent Del is looking for at the moment?
I wouldn't say so, no. A lot of Chisora's credibility comes from the fact he will absolutely fight whoever, wherever, whenever. He's back on the horse now, got a very good win under his belt and would totally undermine any world title claims by fighting a man who can't and won't trouble him.

Mago would eat him alive.
Chisora has faced some of the best heavyweights in the world, he has shown that his limitations don't stop him competing at a high level. Abdusalamov hasn't shown that he can do anything against a top fighter yet.
Yes, and he's been beaten every time he's stepped up. Mago is an unbeaten destroyer and yes he's not moved up yet and yes, he may win or lose, but at this point we don't know. We know about Chisora already.

Chisora has been beaten up twice: Once by Haye and once by Fury when he was horribly out of condition. You and this rampage against Chisora, man. Give it up.

"Rampage", is that the new word for opinion now?

He beat Helenius and Scott.

We know Chisora is good.

We know Chisora is good.
He lost a close decision to an injured Helenius. and Scott is not a world class fighter.

I agree, Chisora is good. But that's all he is.

He didn't stop Helenius, nor has anybody else. That's all you can say about that fight. Chisora won at least 9 rounds.

Chisora was robbed against Helenius.

Referencing the official verdict as some sort of indicator of Chisora's limits is disingenuous given how poorly it reflected what happened.

Regardless of the result, Helenius was injured. If he was 100% it would have been a different fight.

Maybe, but comments like 'Yes, and he's been beaten every time he's stepped up' don't accurately reflect how well he performed on the occasions.

The bout with Helenius suggests Chisora can get the better of top opponents, which seems to be the opposite of what you're arguing by mentioning only official results.

I'd be happy with either Kevin Johnson or Abdusalamov (sp) as opponents for Chisora in September as long as they have a decent amount of notice (5 weeks+.)

Where does Kevin Johnson's credibility come from? He's a grade A spoiler.
