Of all these matches the best chance Rocky has is with Frazier, Holyfield and Ali.

Foreman was just too explosive and powerful. Lewis was just too big. Liston and Tyson are the two biggest question marks of the whole list imho, because they were mentally weak, but were so physically dominating it comes down to if Marciano could survive the first few rounds he had a solid chance.

Rocky would be the underdog in all of those fights to me. That's not saying he couldn't win them, but it'd be an uphill battle.

Like Rufus says, if The Rock survives the early rounds with Liston and Tyson his chances for victory go way up, but he'd have to take a severe beating to do so. I think Holyfield and Frazier have a lot of the same heart and toughness as Rocky Marciano and would have the stuff to beat him by late TKO or decision in their respective bouts. Rocky would certainly be a live opponent against either of them though.

I don't see him doing much of nothing with Lewis or Foreman. He might win a few rounds with Ali, but I think Ali would win a decision pretty comfortably.

I think the Rock would come out of there with a "0", unfortunately it would be the opposite one from his career. I'd give him the best chance against Lennox.

Agree with the "0" part.

However, I see his best chance as being against Frazier.

With Frazier being a slow starter but still coming in aggressively from the opening bell, Rocky maybe could land a terrific early punch and follow it up with more bombs.

Unless Rocky scores spectacularly early and gets Joe out, which is pretty unlikely, Frazier will ultimately grind him down. It won't go the distance.

He does not beat none of the guys above. They would be too big for him.

..i think he beats tyson....and for the same reason holyfield beat tyson. in their first fight, early in the first round tyson smacked holyfield with a terrific punch....and holyfield swatted him right back with one of his own. when i saw that fight i said at that point holy was going to win because tyson lost his intimidation factor and didn't know how to deal with someone who didn't fold when the guy fought back.

i think marciano would do the same. marciano would be able to take that early punch of tyson's and come back with one of his own, and despite tyson's weight advantage he didn't have the character to deal with marciano's toughness.

i have never considered marciano a great fighter, but he was enormously courageous , always in top condition and got stronger as the fights went on. these characteristics would be too much for tyson.

i think marciano loses to everyone else on the list.
