I believe the boxing record of 420665 is my paternal grandfather, who boxed as Kid Salazar, Johnny Salazar. He was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and made his way to the U.S. as a young man, later becoming a U.S. citizen. Kid Salazar sparred at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. His good friend and future brother-in-law Antonio (Tony Herrera) Campbell, my grand uncle, was also a boxer who got his start at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX.
