Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
Colin Lynes maybe or Matthew Hatton are probably the most realistic, logical opponents i can think of top of my head or maybe Ajose Olusegun
Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
When did anyone say Warren was going to pay £100,000 for the opponent? I doubt Frankie's getting half of that.los2 wrote:can't wait....if his promoter could offer 100k for opponent it should be somebody genuine world class...

funnily enough this only came out after news that brook was boxing senchenko

I meant less than half.Londonirish wrote:50kexpe wrote:When did anyone say Warren was going to pay £100,000 for the opponent? Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
You really think that offer was genuine? This is a domestic opponent, so Frankie can win the Lonsdale outright, he's being moved well, there's no need to rush him.los2 wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/latest/ ... ank-warrenexpe wrote:When did anyone say Warren was going to pay £100,000 for the opponent? .....still 100k on the table for frankie's opponent....can't wait to see who it is.....
Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
He wants nobody close to genuine world class.los2 wrote:can't wait....if his promoter could offer 100k for opponent it should be somebody genuine world class...
Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
Like I said, there's no need to rush, win the Lonsdale outright then go for the European in December. Gavin should be moving to world level sometime around the back end of next year.DMA1987 wrote:He wants nobody close to genuine world class.los2 wrote:can't wait....if his promoter could offer 100k for opponent it should be somebody genuine world class...

Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
You are just been argumentative. There probably is 100,000 on the table for Brook, but nobody else(except Khan!). If Haye pulled out tomorrow, does that mean there is 5million on the table for anyone to box Fury, like a Sprott or Towers or so? Stop twisting things...los2 wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/latest/ ... ank-warrenexpe wrote:When did anyone say Warren was going to pay £100,000 for the opponent? Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
He's got to be doing 30 hasn't he Martin? Signed a big contract when he went over, I heard he got ten for his debut. Unless it got rewritten when he went through his bad patch and messed people about a bit.Londonirish wrote:50kexpe wrote:When did anyone say Warren was going to pay £100,000 for the opponent? if there was 100k on the table for brook why wait until after the senchenko fight is announced to declare it?.....mickey1975 wrote:

in his latest column he claims senchenko is on a six-figure purse and that hearn should have brought a world champion over for that purse....he's got 100k for frankie's opponent so is he bringing a world champ over? ......can't wait for the opponent to be announced.......

Re: Frankie gavin vs Bradley pryce
So if he fought Brook it would have been on the undercard at the Copperbox? Different fight, different circumstances, as I guess you know, unless you are a bit slow...Definitely 100,000+ for Brook or the like at the NEC or somewhere for a decent title. Sept 21st is all about keeping busy and winning the Lonsdale belt outright. Would you like me to run through this again for you mate?los2 wrote:if there was 100k on the table for brook why wait until after the senchenko fight is announced to declare it?.....mickey1975 wrote:

When its a fight of the calibre of Brook, then yes, of course. Don't know when it will be though. I would put him in with Kell tomorrow.

Twice British champion, admittedly a few years ago, with 1 proper defeat, who else could they have brought in?DMA1987 wrote:Would have still been a pretty easy fight 3 years ago, now its not even acceptable, sorry but it just isn't.James Harte wrote:David Barnes

Really? Barnes is not match fit for this sort of bout, may as well get James Hare.expe wrote:Twice British champion, admittedly a few years ago, with 1 proper defeat, who else could they have brought in?DMA1987 wrote:Would have still been a pretty easy fight 3 years ago, now its not even acceptable, sorry but it just isn't.James Harte wrote:David Barnes
