Tyson UD. Tua's got a rock hard chin and wouldn't go anywhere, but I don't think he'd have the workrate or the accuracy to beat Tyson, and I doubt he'd land enough to hurt Mike or KO him.

Tyson via wide UD for me.

At his peak Tyson had a far more advanced skillset. Tua was very one-dimensional and would have been outboxed by a number of Tyson's victims.

Agree with this, possibly a TKO.

Prime Tyson this isn't very competitive. Tyson by late stoppage.

But this was a great fight that never was in the late 90s. The Tyson who went on his tour of 2nd raters in 98-2001 vs the Tua of the same period. Had the perfect built in marketing name "T N T" and would have made MASSIVE money by 2000-2001. I would have favored Tua to outwill Tyson in that one but Tua could sleepwalk so much in fights I can honestly see a plausible scenario in which the past-it Tyson wins a decision.

Tyson seemed to want easy fights in that period after Botha (when he was returning back from his suspension) up until Lennox.

Prime Tyson -vs- Prime Tua....Tyson by early knockout in one to three rounds. Tua had a great chin, but he was not very hard to hit and a prime Tyson had some of, if not THE fastest hands in heavyweight history to go along with his crippling power and better skills. If Tua could withstand the first six, or seven rounds then I was pick Tyson by decision. Now if Tua were to land one of those huge left hooks solid he could knockout anyone!
