Bourne isnt bad very good at unlicensed level he's a bit of a beast in the ring but would struggle to get in the uk top 15 in the pros so if he's selling tickets then he's probably better off staying where he is

Wouldnt Bourne be a Cruiserweight in reality if he turned pro or would he struggle to do the weight ?

Not the Biggest of Heavyweights really is he .

He blew one of my heavyweights away in around 30 seconds on a queensbury show .

To answer the question on how Queensbury are perceived id say the only thing they have is the tv deal , they pay poorly and the tv is the only thing to attract any boxer to them , so theyre not very big even in the unlicensed/white collar circuit , let alone on the grand scheme of things .

Are you sure he wasn't talking about Queensbury Promotions rather than QBL?

Get real , If he was of that level he wouldnt be on Queensbury league shows , he would already be pro (unless of course hes either not medically able to or he cant do tickets , of which i get the impression the latter isnt the case ) .

My exact words were that I think he would give him all the trouble in the world. For all I know, the bell could ring and he gets chinned with the first punch. However, I think Joshua was very lucky to become Olympic Champion. Even a former ex pro and Finchley ABC boxer mate of mine said that. He was getting that Gold medal come what may.

It is definitely not Ross, but I have respect for Ross as a matchmaker. The QBL is at an embryonic stage, and I would question some of the remarks about the quality of the majority of the contests.

Although it doesn't have the pro tag in front of it, I would genuinely say the quality is above average, and is better quality than a pro prospect running after a journeyman all night long, which is the back stop of a pro undercard. Your 50/50 fight is normally your main event.

Fair enough. I see your point. The ability would need to be tested against those of a higher degree. Hopefully the level of ability will increase over time.
