EU title defence in October. Solid fight for Towers after the Browne fights were cancelled.
Richard Towers v Johann Duhaupas
Re: Richard Towers v Johann Duhaupas
Yes it's a reasonable fight, the opponent has a padded record but looks around Tony's level and look what happened then :)

Re: Richard Towers v Johann Duhaupas
Towers team have made a pretty good circus show of Richard atm
he needs to fight again soon.
i think duhaupas might beat him
also i wouldnt take too much stock out of the Tony win...it certainly proves towers is a warrior but that fight would have ended in certain defeat under most other refs.

Yeah I think Duhaupas could beat him, had a look at Tony's record and I think I overestimated it in my previous post and Duhaupas is better. Makes it a more interesting fight
Re: Richard Towers v Johann Duhaupas
Towers hasn't defended this belt in over a year how can he still be the champion ? I know its not the real European belt but surely he should have been stripped of it by now ?
Re: Richard Towers v Johann Duhaupas
He hasn't had a mandatory and no one else must have wanted to fight for it so there was no need to strip him.Deano s wrote:Towers hasn't defended this belt in over a year how can he still be the champion ? I know its not the real European belt but surely he should have been stripped of it by now ?
