Really good fight this one. Both of them started fast. Both of them showed technical skills in abundance. They looked evenly matched. The edge came when Morris looked to pace himself better - I got that impression by round 3, and it became clear by round 5. HOWEVER, it was during these rounds Simpson measured the range oh so nicely, and began landing some classy leather - particularly his signature punch: dipping down for a left hand scythe to the body. As the fight wore on he tired a lot and had to drop the pace. Unfortunately this also meant he dropped his range - and Morris scored more and more (very very fit). Morris was a deserving winner, though I felt the scores to be a bit too wide.
