Wow.
Uncomfortable seeing Enzo take so many head swivelling shots, but boy oh boy he's still the warrior.
Devastating

Yeah tip top ref
Re: Cleverly bill and Barker bill round by round thread
Sure, but let's be realisitic about the level of opponent, though. This was indeed a decent fight, but firmly at domestic level at best.

Well done Enzo. Was waiting for a big left all night. That was it.
Enzo v ajisafe next.

good return to success for enzo. if he stays at the right level, this shows he can surprise us, ala derry Mathews. his best win since the EBU knockout over a Russian fighter. enzo can do it at domestic level, which was in doubt after some controversial and shaky fights. he's persevered, and done well, so i'm pleased for him.

Smith/Buckland now, should be interesting. Never seen either but taken a tip from Hagler on Smith.

That's what I mean - perhaps Bellew's power is as well, given what a huge puncher he was as a heavyweight amateurcolumbo wrote: I tend to think it's more that Enzo's power is somewhat drained at 175.

Buncey sounding a bit coarse. I hope he's slowly losing his voice permanently
Onto the next fight, I do not rate Smith at all.

I cant see Enzo going above domestic level going on that but he can be in some good fights at that level.

Fairpoint! It went over my head! Apologies! Haha. Maybe he would be better at Cruiser then!dookus wrote:That's what I mean - perhaps Bellew's power is as well, given what a huge puncher he was as a heavyweight amateurcolumbo wrote: I tend to think it's more that Enzo's power is somewhat drained at 175.
Re: Cleverly bill and Barker bill round by round thread
Agreed! If he has to keep fighting (which, after the knockouts he's suffered, I don't especially like the idea of) then at least he can make some good money and be in good fights at domestic level.columbo wrote:I cant see Enzo going above domestic level going on that but he can be in some good fights at that level.

Isn't it really likely that Smith is going to be jobbed in this fight?

Maybe so, but Smith was mega-lucky the first time he fought John Simpson, and that was in Glasgow....Riddick Blowe wrote:Isn't it really likely that Smith is going to be jobbed in this fight?

Can't be good for the health, Enzo dropping all that weight and taking massive punches so late in his career. He's one of those Holyfield type warriors who never knows when to quit - absolutely fantastic win, but just means he's going to get yet another brutal knockout loss coming up soon.
He seems to have been around forever - while staying in Wales, I remember him being hyped as a possible Wales heavyweight world champ, by Colin Jones & others. Then he gets whacked by Selby.
Great career, but I really hope Gary Lockett tells him when it's time to retire - and looks after his hard earned cash.
Joe Gallagher is quite eccentric

I dunno...the first Simpson fight suggests otherwise...Riddick Blowe wrote:Isn't it really likely that Smith is going to be jobbed in this fight?

Well done Enzo but maybe time to call it quits. The saga don't end well
Re: Cleverly bill and Barker bill round by round thread
Yes, Buckland's with Hatton, Smith's with Warren, more likely to be Buckland that gets robbed, but he's at home, so that will balance it out.iamasadlittleboy wrote:I dunno...the first Simpson fight suggests otherwise...Riddick Blowe wrote:Isn't it really likely that Smith is going to be jobbed in this fight?
