So Charles vs Loughran is signed.

And the Undisputed Title will not be fought for this week.
As per the rules if Charles loses he can not have an immediate rematch.

Very disappointed in HH after weeks of bitching that he can't unify with Gibbons and become lineal champ (linear as he puts it.) when he gets the opportunity to make one true undisputed champ he ducks.

Best resolution IMO have Gibbons and Charles fight for all the belts with Spinks vs Loughran as the co main with the winner getting the next shot at the title. Everybody wins in this situation, we get possibly the only chance to have a full undisputed champ this season, Loughran and Spinks do not miss out as the winner of their fight gets a shot next week.

Charles and Gibbons is the right fight at the right time.

And yet....the wrong manager.

Perhaps we should fight someone that Gibbons has fought to a draw.

Oh wait...there isn't anyone.

It's a real shame as there is a good chance both guys will lose sooner rather than later can only beat the simodds for so long.

Mr P4P1, you have stated the rule correctly, but I think that you are slightly mistaken as to what's going on.

Ezzard Charles CAN offer Tommy Loughran an immediate rematch because they drew last week. That result is still considered a successful title defence, yet Loughran is still an elligible contender for World Titles this week because he did not lose.

I don't think that Mr Hank or Mr Geto were discussing giving Ezzard CHarles a rematch if he losses, now that would be against the rules.

Re-read it and it would seem I did read it wrong the first time, still think that Charles should be fighting Gibbons though

Indeed, Charles is running from Gibbons like a jackrabbit from a shotgun.

I've heard enough of this bullshit. I was under the impression that if I had a draw, then I couldn't go for unification. I was also under the impression if another champion had a split decision win, he couldn't do a unification bout (Mr. Gibbons won via split decision in his last outing). But since everyone is apparently giving me the impression that is not true---- yet those were similar reasons why I wasn't allowed to fight in a unification match weeks ago---- then I hope Mr. Loughran understands, as I want to fight Gibbons for the undisputed championship of the world, and will give him the first crack at my title once I win it off Mr. Gibbons. Jesus bless.

Bivins has a score to settle with Saad Muhammad before he gets involved in anything else, Bivins thanks the champ for his generous offer but must respectfully decline the offer at this time. Although we look forward to a rematch in the near future if possible.

Mr Hank, allow me to clear things up for you so that we all know where we stand.
HomicideHenry wrote:I've heard enough of this bullshit. I was under the impression that if I had a draw, then I couldn't go for unification.
Your impression was incorrect.
Draws are considered successful title defences... WHY? Because you did not lose your titles.
HomicideHenry wrote:I was also under the impression if another champion had a split decision win, he couldn't do a unification bout (Mr. Gibbons won via split decision in his last outing).
That is also incorrect.
A win is win - regardless of the manner of it... A KO, or a TKO, a UD or a SD, a MD or a DQ - it all comes down to the same thing:
Winning by an inch or winning by a mile - it's still winning!
HomicideHenry wrote:But since everyone is apparently giving me the impression that is not true---- yet those were similar reasons why I wasn't allowed to fight in a unification match weeks ago
:??
The reason you weren't allowed an Undisputed Title unification fight weeks ago was because you had not defended the WBO title three times yet.

This week a Unification fight for the Undisputed Title can happen!!!!!

WHY?
Because Ezzard Charles has defended the WBC Title and WBO Titles both 3 times in a row.
And Tommy Gibbons has defended the WBA Title and IBF Titles both 3 times in a row.

So, that is exactly why.

The only way that can happen is if Armageto agrees to step aside in order for this fight to be made... It's considered bad form around these parts for a fighter to withdraw from a signed fight.

Your treatment of a P4P legend like Harry Greb is shameful at best and morbid at worst.
:shame: :shame: :shame:

We hereby invite you to awaken up and smell the hummus... Look around and see the other ring greats who are available - like Archie Moore, Michael Spinks and Sam Langford....

Guys, in other words, in the same calibre as Mr Greb... Give the fans what the BIG FIGHTS that they want to see.

Just a note...in order to be rated highly, you need to mix it up with a high rated fighter.

Slumming wins off the backs of Crumbles does not garner a lot of point.

A loss from a highly rated fighter does less damage than losing to Sister Susie.

Homeside Harry.....I can't believe you....seriously....your the guy that lights the bag of crap on the doorstep, knocks on the door, and runs like hell. Then when the guy inside the house opens the door, there's nothing but a stink on the porch. He looks around, calls out..."is anybody out there?....cuz if you got any guts I want you to get back her and clean this shit up and we can sort this out".....and your watching from down the street laughing.

Then you do it again the next day.

Gibbons will not have it.....He will fight John Henry Lewis. And if Lewis wins Lewis will be auctioned to the highest bidder.

My porch stinks.....

If neither of you guys choose an opponent, Gibbons has to face one of you. John Henry Lewis isn't in the top 14....
