The corner
I noticed after the third, Clev had FIVE men in his corner all shouting different things at him. Surely, after being hurt for the first time in your career, one steady all voice is better than five men shouting random sh1t and distracting you. Amateurish from team Cleverly

Re: The corner
Reminds me of Tyson's corner v Lewis. At one point Tyson's trainer goes 'ONE AT A fornicating TIME!' and 15 seconds later they were all shouting over each again.

I thought you were only allowed 3 in the corner?danconnollyeire wrote:I noticed after the third, Clev had FIVE men in his corner all shouting different things at him. Re: The corner
What kind of punishment (if any) is there for having five? Stupid nonethelessThe Law wrote:

Re: The corner
I am not aware of any specific punishment for having 5 individuals in a corner. It is the BBBofC inspector's duty to ask the fifth individual to leave the corner and I'm not sure if this was done in this instance. If they bluntly refuse to leave the corner (after being asked) then it will be up to the relevant Area Council to consider a suitable punishment.danconnollyeire wrote:What kind of punishment (if any) is there for having five? The fifth guy probably was the board inspector tbfThe Law wrote:I am not aware of any specific punishment for having 5 individuals in a corner. Re: The corner
When you get hit the way Clev did it doesn't matter how many guys are in the corner, and it means nothing what they say either because I'd imagine clev wasn't listening when his instincts took over sitting on that stool.

I coudn`t agree more
They need to forget how Calzaghe did things. It has been a concern for a very long time.

Love hearing tales of your army days MMMachoMan09 wrote:Robert McCracken is the guy people should look to if they want to see how a corner should be run. He very much reminds me of my first section corporal when I was a young Tom. Totally and utterly unflappable, softly spoken, but authoritative and as hard as nails.
