Great fight. Enzo fought with a lot of heart. He took some bombs and gritted his teeth. He wanted that win so badly.

Such a nice bloke and I hope he can make some good cash now before finally retiring.

I bet Enzo has earned a hell of a lot more than most active boxers today, even Clev. The Haye fight was serious money.

Not so sure I think that Warren shot his load getting Haye to agree to the fight, I heard that it was Haye who got the big purse (£1m+) and Enzo got about £200k. Not saying £200k is shit, it's a very good payday but probably not life-changing once tax, other people's cuts and living/training costs are taken into account.

He defended a good few times too, on big shows as well. Not saying he is set for life but he must have his own house etc. think it was around 300,000 for Haye. There was more money flying around in those days too on the JC undercards with the Americans televising along with ITV/Sky.

Enzo isn't skint, he has always been careful with his money, but has always been a full time pro with a missus and 5 kids, he needs to keep fighting to have financial security

Hahaha after that win? Enzo was very good still got hit a lot but he took clean shots and was still standing. With a good crowd behind him he can give anyone a tough fight.

Come on, Enzo is a lovely guy and fought like a trojan to win the other night.
However, reality check, he won despite his fragile chin. It hasnb't disappeared overnight, he tucked up well and Ovill never got going and was second best most of the fight, due mainly to Enzo's better boxing and lovely jab.
But why can't he do a job at domestic and Commonweath level. If he's put into world level he could get seriously hurt. One fight shouldn't erase the memory of those devastatingly hard KO's only a short while ago. Even the terrible Shane McPhilbin hurt him.
At this stage in his career there is no shame in defending his current commonwealth belt against good domestic fighters or taking on the cruisers such as John Lewis Dickinson et al.

Agreed, there should be no giddy stepping up to the next level again, he needs a few fights at this level. It's all about the money though so I guess theymight want to step him up again for a bigger fight. They just need to avoid big hitters if they do step up a level, as that would be disastrous.

I can understand your loyalty to your welsh fighter, but let's be clear headed here, a few years ago he would have won this fight easily, he was in trouble a few times in the fight, in fact in nearly every fight recently he has been in trouble, his punch resistance has gone to pot, from a dominant world champion, to getting into wars at british level, big difference.
