The only reason I would offer this Torres ahead of your fighter Commish Crease, is that he asked for the shot first. Not a great way to decide but probably the best way I can think of.

Frilla, do you and Torres agree, mate?
Definitely agree mate, sign it up. Cheers for the shot :TU:

If neither of you guys choose an opponent, Gibbons has to face one of you. John Henry Lewis isn't in the top 14....
Hmmm that being the case it sounds like we may be better off sitting out for a bit and waiting to see how this week pans out.

I'm not trying to stir the pot, but Lewis isn't in the top 14. Gibbons doesn't have many options for an eligible opponent for week 18.

I noticed that Henry was mistaken and thought he couldn't unify the titles this week. I still don't see how you don't understand the basic Sim rules that have been here for a few seasons. I do contemplate the idea of stepping aside for the good of the Sim, but I know if I do and Gibbons wins, I will probably never see a title shot again. Or as long as he has the belts.

Gibbons will not have it.....He will fight John Henry Lewis. And if Lewis wins Lewis will be auctioned to the highest bidder.

My porch stinks.....
Then I reckon I will fight Loughran, since you want Lewis. But remember this, because of your actions, there wont be no unification match next week, next month, etc. Team Homicide will patiently wait it out until you lose and are a nothing. Jesus bless.

Look, if Gibbons/Charles want to unify this week, I'm willing to step aside. I will be traveling back home and might be busy during the next Sim card or two to make good, thoughtful matchups.

Now, Loughran is willing to step aside IF whoever wins out of the Gibbons/Charles matchup gives Loughran a shot in either week 19 or week 20. The reason I give two weeks is because we'd still like to fight top guys. If Loughran goes down this week perhaps, we can fight an easy opponent in week 19 for a week 20 title shot. That or perhaps the unified champ wants an easier defense of all the belts in week 19, we will face a stay busy opponent that week until a shot in week 20. If the unified champ doesn't give Loughran a shot, they have to vacate two belts for Loughran and the next highest challenger to fight for. If for some reason the unified champ loses before facing Loughran, we just hope the next man up does the right thing and offers him a shot at the belts.

I know some managers don't always keep their word. Loughran is willing to step aside for the good of the Sim, he just wants to make sure he is getting his title shot by week 20. Let me know and we will plan for this week accordingly.

oops.....I thought Crease said Lewis was in......

Look, Gibbons will fight anyone who operates with respect....geto our conflict is well in the past....no problem at all with you or yours.

Not going to fight Charles this week because Homeside is a goofball..and doesn't get the rules.....

So if Rosenbloom will face Gibbons...that's another option for us. Next offer to Moore, then To Johnson then to Moorer.

(SEE UPDATE TO THIS BELOW)

Any takers? first one to say yes gets it. In fact anyone eligible else is fine as long as his name does not begin with an S. We will not fight Satan.

We will face Charles next week if we both happen to make it....but this aint my doing......Homeside made another fight...pissed us off...and that ship has sailed. I feel I have acted with honor. Rosenbloom is my favorite LHW....so he gets the nod if he wants it.

I don't care who is left standing next week, Charles or Loughran...we will fight either.....Spinks deserves the first shot after that..and if it's us he gets it.

Otherwise it will be up to whever is left standing.

For Ezzard Charles and Tommy Gibbons:
Here are following elligible challengers for your World Titles:

3 Loughran
5 Moore
6 Langford
7 Spinks
8 Johnson
9 Bivins
11 Fitzsimmons
12 Moorer
13 Choynski
14 Lewis

PLEASE NOTE: A Gibbons vs Charles fight this week would be for ALL four World Titles.
(Not that I am encouraging this fight, as a Commish I have to be impartial - but I'm just voicing all the possible routes that the two Champs can do down)

I see what happened it was an old list. Lewis error was based on this.

Hear ye Hear Ye.

Charles Ducked us, and says he is giving Loughran another shot.

If your fighters name does not begin with an S....that's "S" as in "Satan"
AND you did not lose your last fight
AND your are not engaged in a currently scheduled fight (unless you wiggle out of it somehow) (This Includes YOU Tommy)
AND you are in the top 14

YOU can accept a KO from the #1 BoxRecSim fighter..."The Gibber" AT ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE TO YOU!
He is also the LONSDALE CHAMPION, IBF CHAMPION AND WBA CHAMPION....(yeah you've heard of him.)

I fnay of you gentlemen are becoming confused in this Gibbons title defence situation, I would refer you to this thread to clear things up.

Let all the haggling for a fight with Gibbond take place over there... And in the meantime, let the lower ranked guys have their say in this thread.

Norfolk will fight anyone.

Gibbons scared Charles. We put the call out.....and Sam answered. So Langford sounds like a good show! We dont' blame him for not fighting someone who's name begins with "S".

Commissioner Crease has offered us the fight with Gibbons for the sake of the sim. We gladly accept. Let it be known there is no ducks here on TeamHomicide. As for those sim rankings, I call bullshit. We were number one for three weeks defeating Sam Langford and others far more better than the men Gibbons fought. Jesus bless.

1. YOU are number #2 plain and simple....in OH so many ways.
2. Crease has no authority to COMPEL and my guess is you have misunderstood something once again.
3. IF Gibbons gets through his fight this week with Langford, and Charles gets through his fight...whomever agrees to fight him, we ONCE AGAIN agree to fight your man. You might want to think about the choice you make next time.
4. This mess is yours, you own it by agreeing to another fight AFTER we called you out. This is not rocket science, have some degree of grace.
5. Actions have consequences. Live with it.

We agreed to unify, you chose differently, we moved on. This may or may not be the only option this season to unify. Time will tell.
