He's not to bad, is he.

Thought he looked cold coming in, and his start reminded me of Hamed in his latter years - forgetting about the boxing and going for the KO, he was really planting his feet.

A wonderful prospect.

As Henry Cooper used to say "He has every hook in the book!!!"
The best prospect since a young Hatton without doubt.
I just want to know why the hell Paul O'Grady is being interviewed about Boxing? I can just about swallow the McGuigan and McKenzie double act but Lilly Savage????
Anyway....well done Amir! :TU:

i know what you mean but amir doesn't throw wild punches like naz did that which more often than not left him wide open..

but it's looking good but amir has to watch out for the hangers on...and i'm on about that guy in the suit that was stood next to amir tonight after the fight, his brother??shaved headed guy..he was pointing amir in the direction of the cameras moving him here, there etc....if it'd his brother what does he know about the fight game and about PR???? only bad things tend to come from having relatives onboard imo

I'll reserve judgement till he fights someone at least close to his size. Last nights 'fight' was a disgrace... barely a sparring session in truth...

On the bright side Kahn is active and seems to be getting good training in puntuated with fights which must act as a good break in the scedual. however he has got to start fighting people who are going to teach him about the sport and by that I mean people who have had a lot of fights and know all the old pro tricks. Baz Carey had had 25 fights in 4 years and Kahn would have learnt a lot from that but Steve Gethin was too small and too chinny and David Baly hadn't really done anything. I have said it befor and I will say it again they should give Pete Buckley a call for the Williams Harrison undercard

As a regular churchgoer i am offended by the title of this topic.

I am reserved judegement on Mr. Khan as yet, he made me chuckle though when he said "I am honoured to be in the same ring as Steve Gethin" :box:

Khan looks sharp against blown up Feathers, and limited journeymen.

Not sure he has enough of a dig to go all the way.

He's a nice kid, but I reckon he will be ko'd before proper world level.

Time will tell

Ooooooh Mighty Warrior...........you just delivered a black eye to all us Catholic boys out there with that one. But I must confess I chuckled just like one of those hilarious twin brothers on kids telly.
Remember Angel Manfredy.....nicknamed 'El Diablo' until his conversion to Born Again Christianity.....Man now that guy had a lot of tatoos. I didn't know wether to watch him or read him.
Johnny Tapia was another who was heavy on religious iconography. Added to that I believe he also had a tat on the inside of his upper left forearm that read 'Insert Here'

I think he's overrated. He will get stopped by the first big puncher he faces.
