Edwin Valero v Juan Manuel Marquez.
With Edwin Valero crash landing the Lightweight division with his destructive punching power at a time when Juan Manuel Marquez was the best Lightweight in the business. Who would have had in this one and why?

Juan Manuel Marquez
Valero never was able to prove he could compete with this level of competition, and never will be able to.

Re: Edwin Valero v Juan Manuel Marquez.
I think Juan Manuel Marquez would outbox him soundly. Valero`s power may have shown early, kind of like Katsidis` did but once Marquez got into his rhythm it would be a clean sweep from then on out.

JMM for me as well.

^This is where I meant the match ups are sometimes one sided, though that's not really a big deal.
JMM is on a completely different plane. Either by wide decision or late stoppage.
