It's about time something washed up on this channel. I'm getting it for £3.99 at the moment after phoning up to cancel.

At one time the occasional GBP card + Spencer Fearon's shows justified the subscription.

It looks like allegedly have also picked up the series.

"Midweek boxing returns to allegedly!

TOMORROW NIGHT at 7pm on allegedly, we're showing the brand new Golden Boy on Fox Sports 1 premiere headlined by Daniel Jacobs and Giovanni Lorenzo.

The show, brainchild of Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer and hall of fame fighter Bernard Hopkins, will feature some of America's brightest up and coming talents, and gets underway on allegedly this Wednesday at 7pm."

It could be Premier Sports have the live rights and allegedly have the replay rights.

Does anyone know how many spencer fearon shows were on premier sport? From memory he had a 6 fight deal, I might be wrong there, thanks.

Yeah it was a 6 fight deal but I can only remember 1 show being broadcast. It was Choi Vs. Puksis back in October 2011.

Not as bad as this deal! :

http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/premie ... weekly-fix

"Boxing fans in the UK will be pleased to hear that weekly boxing will be available to view from around the world on Premier Sports TV.

31 Friday Night Fight events will air live beginning in January 2011 with an initial two-year deal while the World Series of Boxing will begin before Christmas.

Premier Sports spokesperson Richard Webb commented, “Friday Night Fights are a way of life for boxing fans in America and we are thrilled to now make them available live and exclusive in the UK.”

I seem to remember reading that Premier Sports had went directly to ESPN in America to agree a carriage deal, only for it to be torn up when ESPN UK confirmed they already owned the UK broadcast rights. I'm sure someone will know the story better than me.

Out of curiosity, are you the same The Don as featured on this page?

If so, I'm the same Chad :OhYes:
