OK it is now clear that i am in the very very small minority who feel it is an easy fight for Fury. so i will call back here on 29th September and if i was wrong i will retire from this forum and the sport of boxing. But if i am proven correct then you guys must then hold me in the highest esteem.... peace!

a load of coblers.
You are throwing your imaginary money away or monopoly money, you never did say if this was a genuine bookmakers bet in your thread, did you just do a friendly bet to your wife.
You have only one chance and thats no chance of this coming off.

The bottom line is Fury has no chin, end of, one whack and its goodnight Gypsy rose Leedanconnollyeire wrote:To answer you're ridiculous number 1 and 2 of no substance, a fat Chisora nearly KOd Fury will no stamina or speed. So, Chisora is the answer and someone you can defo compare the two fighter tosonnyboyx2 wrote:as i expected, lots of stupid comments with zero substance to them. many claiming Haye has the better speed & Power and experience etc etc. Well i can only say to those people, "You are going to be in for a very very big shock on 28th"
1/. Who has Haye knocked out at Heavyweight of the caliber of Fury is at now..... Answer: nobody
2/. Which of his fights can i see this blinding speed and power of Haye....Answer: none
3/. How will Haye KO Fury when Emmanuel Stewart claimed,"There is nothing wrong with Tyson Fury's chin. Did Kevin Johnson KO Fury and he is a far bigger puncher than Haye..... Answer: Haye wont KO him
4/. Boxing is a young mans sport: Fury age 24yrs Haye age 33yrs, Haye is not improving whereas Fury is improving.
5/. Haye has boxed 5rds in over 2yrs, Fury has fought 37rds and 5 opponents in the last 2yrs. "Rest is Rust" said Ray Arcel
6/. Fury can keep it long range all night like he did with Johnston and win by a landslide. Haye needs a KO to win.
7/. Bottom line is, This is easier money than finding it lying in the street.
3. Johnson was a breathing heavy bag who has never been known for his power. Steward only saw Fury briefly in training and, sadly, hasn't seen his recent fights when his chin has been questioned. So to base your bet on that one statement would be ridiculous
4. HW boxing is not a young mans game. Vitali is 42 and Wlad 37. Haye doesn't have an old body. He takes extreme care of himself and is in better physical shape than Fury. Tyson is getting better fitness wise but he was pretty 'fat' in boxing terms for most of his pro career. Haye has an incredible physique (no homo)
5. Hayes never been that active but this is the one decent point you've made in your entire post
6. Anyone can keep a heavy bag at range
7. Just no

I think he's trying to convince himself. If you've dropped a grand on someone you're having second thoughts about, you desperately want to believe that you're not going to lose it.Final round wrote:Why are you trying so hard to convince everyone?

Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
i have placed my wager with a legit bookmaker at odds of 3/1 Tyson Fury beats David Haye.....c'mon to claim Haye KOd Chisora is a class act, Chisora was a virgin when Fury leathered him. he then lost his next couple of fights and lets not forget Fury was a fighter back then without a trainer who was grossly overweight. unlike now were he is a world class contender who can fight 12rds standing on his head.... As for Kevin Johnson he is a very good fighter who put up a decent effort against Vitali Klitschko a far better effort than what David Haye put up against Wlad Klitschko. Boxing most definately is a young mans sport and David Haye is an old man as far as this sport goes. just because guys like Hopkins & Vitali can fight well into their 40s is meaningless when your fighting a fighter of the fitness and caliber of Tyson Fury.. Fury is deterimed and unstoppable, he can fight 12rds at a very very fast pace which is something both Haye and Vitali cannot do... Many many people are thinking of Tyson Fury as the gross fat guy who started his career on CH5 back in 2008 with a tyre around his waist. today's Tyson Fury is a Fighting Machine weighing 40lbs lighter with world class ability. Fury can beat Haye easily with his 85ins reach. BUT i feel Fury will be going into this fight for the KILL i see him completely dominating the entire fight from round one to the finish. Haye accepted this fight only for some pension money... get on Fury at 3/1
Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
No he didnt. If anything he saw Fury as a fairly easy nights work and a good payday to boot and further step along his path of getting another shot at the klitschko's.sonnyboyx2 wrote:i have placed my wager with a legit bookmaker at odds of 3/1 Tyson Fury beats David Haye.....c'mon to claim Haye KOd Chisora is a class act, Chisora was a virgin when Fury leathered him. he then lost his next couple of fights and lets not forget Fury was a fighter back then without a trainer who was grossly overweight. unlike now were he is a world class contender who can fight 12rds standing on his head.... I read your comment and try to make a case for a Fury win, I hope you are right as im not bothered who wins so you to win 3K is a great nights work. But while I try to convince myself I do not agree that Haye will be using this as a pension fight. To be honest I think the other way round, a loss on furys record means nothing, and thats a fact, if he wins he wins and even if fury loses he wins. There are no fighters out there so even a loss could be a rematch for a world title.sonnyboyx2 wrote:i have placed my wager with a legit bookmaker at odds of 3/1 Tyson Fury beats David Haye.....c'mon to claim Haye KOd Chisora is a class act, Chisora was a virgin when Fury leathered him. he then lost his next couple of fights and lets not forget Fury was a fighter back then without a trainer who was grossly overweight. unlike now were he is a world class contender who can fight 12rds standing on his head.... People going way over the top on Hayes "skills" and "power".
At the same time people are going way over the top in ripping Fury to bits.
I've got a sneaky feeling Fury is going to pull this one off.If he copys Wlads blueprint and keeps Haye on the end of his huge reach and keeps a watertight defence then yeah I think he can beat Hate.
I'm not saying Fury has the same or better skills then Wlad I'm saying that what Wlad did to Haye was not rocket science.
The interesting thing about that fight was the lack of ideas used by Haye and His corner to attempt another plan when it became really obvious very early that plan "A" didn't stand a fornicating chance.

Boyoverthehill you are 100% correct buddy... Haye and his mate Adam Booth are bluffers in the sport of boxing, they are fools who know very very little about boxing psychology of how this sport works. Booth is a gym instructor/ friend of David Haye and will be exposed come the Fury fight

I wouldn't go that far mate they seem to have done OK for themselves!!!....I just feel Fury is getting a rough deal here and view the fight as a 60/40 in favour of Haye.
I will be backing fury myself (not 1k!!!!).
Quite fancy the Fury pts @10/1 and Fury stoppage rnds 7/12 @10/1.
Also love the big prices of 22/1 ud.....25/1 SD....66/1 MD

Round 2, Del Boy lands a big right hand, Fury does a dances and holds on for dear life while Chisora runs out of steam. We've been through this before. I wish you the best of luck, but if fear, that you're going to be dissapointed. For all of Haye's flaws as a heavyweight, he has more than an edge on Fury. Fury has neither the punch, not the technique, barring the of course ever present sunday punch, of winning.sonnyboyx2 wrote:Me and my wife both agreed after watching several hours of fight tapes, that we would wager £1000 at odds of 3/1 Tyson Fury beats David Haye 28th September. Our reasons for the wager are that everything is in Tyson Fury's favor. Height, Weight, Reach, Age, record, ability, aggression, power, speed... i feel that David Haye is vastly overrated as is his punch-power & speed. Haye has a very suspect record at Heavyweight and defeated both John Ruiz & Monte Barrett with "Rabbit Punches" otherwise he would not have been victorious in those fights. Haye i feel was clearly out-pointed by both Wlad Klitschko & Nicolay Valuev and his fight against Audley Harrison was farcical. which leaves the 34yr old Haye with lots to prove on 28th September. Tyson Fury on the other hand has looked a very good and exciting world rated contender in his last 4 fights. Fury's knockdown against Steve Cunningham was due to him standing square-on and on one foot as the punch landed. Legendary trainer Emmanuel Stewart trained Fury in the Kronk gym 2yrs ago and claimed, "Fury will be Heavyweight Champion of the World" Stewart also said, "There is nothing wrong with Tyson Fury's Chin, he takes a great punch"..Tyson Fury put on a great exhibition of skilled boxing to defeat world rated Kevin Johnson then his demolition of Cunningham has left us thinking, "We Cannot Lose" all genuine and sensible views welcome please!

Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
anyone who thinks this fight is a mismatch is ridiculous. David Haye's record at heavyweight isnt spectacular, he lost to Klitschko and in my opinion was very fortunate to beat Valuev. His best win at heavyweight has been Chisora and you can see by the end of the fight he was starting to tire. At cruiserweight he only had two world title fights, one beating Enzo Maccarinelli who is now a domestic level light heavyweight with a glass chin and Jean Marc Mormeck who was destroyed by Wladimir in one of the most one sided title fights ever.A lot of the hype behind Haye has been generated by himself and i even believed he had a chance against Wladimir with the way he was talking. His a fighter who likes to ambush opponents and when it works it looks spectacular ie.Audley Harrison. Fury is underrated because many believe him to be a clown, but his going to set a fast pace from the start, faster than the Wladimir fight and i see Haye getting gased by the late rounds. If Fury comes in with a proper defense and doesnt get carried away David Haye is going to find it very hard to beat him. Haye is also a head hunter which means Fury doesnt have too worry too much about defending his body, which means he can keep his hands high. Fury also has a very good jab which he can use to keep Haye away from him and Fury is an exceptional inside fighter for a big man. IMO Haye only has one way to beat Fury and thats by catching him with a massive punch and hoping Furys chin is as bad as some people say it is, which could very well happen but Fury can out box and out work Haye. And betting odds are effected by who people put there money on, so the casual fan must think, Fury the man who punched himself in the face, talks the world of shit and has been down a few times isnt going to stand a chance against David 'the hayemaker' Haye who is known mostly for being a big puncher

The one where Haye totally sparks the man who gave a Klitchko there toughest fight in the last 10 years?sonnyboyx2 wrote:Me and my wife both agreed after watching several hours of fight tapes, that we would wager £1000 at odds of 3/1 Tyson Fury beats David Haye 28th September.
