I think Fury's size will be difficult to handle as he is a couple of inches taller than Vlad even was.
Cunningham put him over when he was square on too.
I wouldn't peg Tyson as the favourite, but to suggest that he has no chance at all would be very wrong. His scatty performance in America was down to Peter Fury's absence and his eagerness to impress.
I think this is the first opponent that Tyson shall not be thinking will be a doddle and will be training extremely diligently. I would also add that Fury has never really had decent sparring before - but this time he has several guys in the gym with him of a decent calibre.
GOmez... i agree with all your saying. The knockdown against Cunningham was due to Fury being caught square-on while on his toes. Steve Cunningham is being vastly underrated by everyone, Cunningham could very easily have been an unbeaten fighter going into his fight with Fury, he had lost two very debatable split-decisions against Adamek and two dubious hometown decisions in Germany, fights i believe he won. So for Fury to brutalize Cunningham in the fashion which he did is one of the main reasons i invested in my wager. Cunningham was also trained by Nazim Richardson who is a world class trainer unlike Adam Booth who is pure garbage. IMO Haye brings very little to this dance which will bother Tyson Fury and i see Haye looking for away out of the fight around the mid rounds. i would not be surprised if Haye "QUIT" because the pressure from Fury will be too much for him to handle.

I like your optimism Sonnyboy, but you are in for a shock.

there is a small chance you could be correct because anything can happen in a boxing match, yet i doubt it i really do

I can think of 1000 reasons...
Who knows if he really made the bet but it's another discussion thread on a big British fight... which is nice.
I can certainly imagine a calm Fury boxing smart, tall & tight with lateral movement and jabs and keeping Haye out of the fight for 4 or 5 consecutive rounds so if he can do it that long maybe he can do it all night. It's not inconceivable. This is close to an even fight in my view so not one for big bets. Good luck to anyone putting real money on it.
A pic of the betting slip and I will 100% take it back. Don't think we are going to see one though somehow
betting slips are for fools who bet in high street bookmakers, i prefer to bet online, it is meaningless to me wether you feel its bullshit or not it is your prerogative. i also have a ticket for the fight block 102 row X seat 17 maybe that is bullshit also
Didn’t Fury fight southpaw in one fight? Ramming a right hand jab out.
Going right foot first would create more distance between him and Haye…making it more tricky for Haye to get in to land. It might make Fury more disciplined in there too. Stop his jab getting lazy.
Maybe someone who actually knows what they’re on about, unlike me, can put me straight on this one.

hmm, would also open up the angle for Haye's lead right hands coming down the middle instead of over the shoulder
I'm happy to believe you've placed the bet without seeing the slip, but I'm not convinced you've watched the tapes close enough. If you think Kevin Johnson punches harder than David Haye then you are hugely mistaken.
Go to 2.47 watch the highlights. He takes a huge right hand (take it well to be fair) but wobbles. Chisora doesn't have the speed or movement to get close enough to finish

ok, screen shot your betting slip online and post it? pretty straight forward to do. Clearly trolling if screenshot not posted!!

But if i am proven correct then you guys must then hold me in the highest esteem.... peace!
You've only been here 20 minutes and this is all you've posted on; what's to retire from?

Haha with a grand total of 17 posts on this forum in his lifetime, the majority of which are on this thread, I'm certain he is going to be greatly missed...

Damn good price imo I would take that any day and stick a couple of quid on it. I feel 1 round maybe too quick though, I think the first will be a looking at each other round and Haye trying for a KO, but I feel that Fury will not get tagged in the first, round 2 or 3 and its all over and a mad dash to the MEN car park for my 3 hour drive up North.

Not a fair comment tbh im sure we all like our boxrec members. I love the banter on this site and the very knowledgeable people however Im not one for shouting how much ive put on the bookies and not proving myself. I'm sure we can all brag about £1000 here and there and not missing it but its egg on faces and schoolboy fairytales if you do not stand to the plate.
I have a 8 inch dick but not taking a photo of it to prove it but it puts a £1000 smile on our lass's face.

Our reasons for the wager are that everything is in Tyson Fury's favor. Height, Weight, Reach, Age, record, ability, aggression, power, speed... i feel that David Haye is vastly overrated as is his punch-power & speed. Haye has a very suspect record at Heavyweight and defeated both John Ruiz & Monte Barrett with "Rabbit Punches" otherwise he would not have been victorious in those fights. Haye i feel was clearly out-pointed by both Wlad Klitschko & Nicolay Valuev and his fight against Audley Harrison was farcical. which leaves the 34yr old Haye with lots to prove on 28th September. Tyson Fury on the other hand has looked a very good and exciting world rated contender in his last 4 fights. Fury's knockdown against Steve Cunningham was due to him standing square-on and on one foot as the punch landed. Legendary trainer Emmanuel Stewart trained Fury in the Kronk gym 2yrs ago and claimed, "Fury will be Heavyweight Champion of the World" Stewart also said, "There is nothing wrong with Tyson Fury's Chin, he takes a great punch"..Tyson Fury put on a great exhibition of skilled boxing to defeat world rated Kevin Johnson then his demolition of Cunningham has left us thinking, "We Cannot Lose" all genuine and sensible views welcome please!
Most people think I'm mad , but I agree with everything u said !
Good post.

You are my inspiration. I'm putting a grand on Arsenal winning the treble. I've closely compared Arsenal with Man Utd, City, Barca, Munich and Madrid and the team have far more physical capabilities, skills, accuracy. Me and the missus have watch hours of footage and age is a massive factor, and the youth of Arsenal can surely pull-off a world cup win in Brazil
