Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
Dirks is like a poor mans Abraham.
Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
Wasn't able to catch this fight but I'm scratching my head and wondering who had actually been hyping Pulev up to beat Vladimir anyway before this? I'm not aware that people were.

Not sure I have seen that either. At most I think I have seen people say he would beat the rest of the contenders that came through around the same time he did ( such as Fury, Price and Wilder etc )Kilburn wrote:Wasn't able to catch this fight but I'm scratching my head and wondering who had actually been hyping Pulev up to beat Vladimir anyway before this? Pretty fair assessment

Very few people were.Kilburn wrote:Wasn't able to catch this fight but I'm scratching my head and wondering who had actually been hyping Pulev up to beat Vladimir anyway before this? I'm not aware that people were.

Im not sure he'd beat Povetkin to be honest and I dont think he has much hope against Wladimir.lillywhite14 wrote:Not sure I have seen that either. Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
I think he'd beat Povetkin comfortably, and give Vitali a hard night purely by dint of workrate. Wladimir, I don't currently see him beating.
Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
I think Vitali is being massively under rated lately. The wisdom seems to be that he's a Cocoon cast member awaiting extinction. He wasn't great against Chisora, but was still comfortably ahead. I believe if pushed he could still summon up his inner bad-ass. If he fights Haye or Fury, I'd put my left ventricle on him prevailing.

The Italian that Braehmer is fighting looks like a dwarf for being a light heavy.

Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
Does the loss mean that Thompson is lined up for Hughie Fury now?

I expect him and Tyson Fury to face off after Fury loses to Haye.deadpan wrote:Does the loss mean that Thompson is lined up for Hughie Fury now?
Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
I was being flippant. And yes, that will happen. IF he loses.
Re: Pulev - Thompson RBR
