Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Well, at least Mendoza's connect rate went up.

Oh, re Gonzalez, I think you're thinking of his fight with Roger Gonzalez (the guy whose name you couldn't recall).
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Orozco.. 141.5 to 158.75, nice.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
I have that fight too, but I think it went longer (Yes as I thought the fight with Roger went 6 rounds). Maybe I'm wrong. The name I was thinking of was Gabriel Elizando I believe. He was dropped in the 1st by Elizondo and then proceeded to drop him 4 times in the 2nd.Rover wrote:I understand gil.gilgamesh wrote:A lot of time I don't get to pay as good of attention as I'd like because I'm on here talking to you guys, so tonight when the main card rolls around. I've never heard that either.JCS wrote:Never heard the theory that younger fighters "mature" faster at lower weight classes... Probably because the division depth is thinner.. or am I missing something?

Another ass whipping.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Orozco TKO3 as he drops Hernandez and then pounds him with the ref stopping it.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Rafael Marquez is coming back Sept. 7th how about that? I've always been a big fan of both Marquez brothers. I hope Rafael can look ok coming back. They're not matching him too tough in his first fight back. Pitting him against a guy that's 16-2-1. If he can't look good against this guy, he should consider hanging 'em up for good.
I'll be rooting for a one sided KO win for Rafa though.

He should've retired when Mijares stopped him. He's finished.gilgamesh wrote:Rafael Marquez is coming back Sept. 7th how about that? I've always been a big fan of both Marquez brothers. I don't think he's got another title win in his future, but I've always been a fan and always will be. I don't abandon my guys because they choose to fight on past their prime, I would advise against it...but ultimately it's his career, it's his choice and I respect that. If I'm a fan, I'm a fan to the end.Rover wrote:He should've retired when Mijares stopped him. He's finished.gilgamesh wrote:Rafael Marquez is coming back Sept. 7th how about that? I have no problem with rooting for your favorites; I did for Tito v. Jones even though I thought he should've stayed retired.gilgamesh wrote:I don't think he's got another title win in his future, but I've always been a fan and always will be. Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
So uhhhh........what's happening now? This is kind of a long break.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
They showed The All Access Show Mayweather vs Canelo (basically Showtimes's version of 24/7)
The main card just started now. The fights haven't started yet, they're just discussing them.

Thanks, I hate being in Atlantic time.
Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
Yeah I always think they should show the undercard all the way up until the main card.DetroitHxC wrote:And I agree. I was actually thinking that earlier. It makes no sense to have the undercard end more than an hour before the main telecast starts.

Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
holy piss... Terrazas 121 to 139.5.. Where's DW at, I need to see if this is the largest % gain.

Re: Mares/Gonzalez and undercard RBR.
And Santa Cruz is fighting, so this is going to be a decision....it's going to be like 1 30 am here before the Mares fight even starts.

I looked up his record before I made my pick for the bout, it was nothing to suggest he's somebody to take lightly.DetroitHxC wrote:I'm not convinced Terrazas is a pushover here. He may give Leo a run for his money.
