I have watched this a few times, not bad but you should check out the book Jack Doyle: The Gorgeous Gael by Michael Taub. Jack Doyle was a shooting star who soared high but fell even further. Everthing came too quick for him and he was not mature enough to properly deal with extraordinary levels of fame he attained. An big punching Irish guy with a gift of the blarney from the 1930's who attracted 80,000 for a British title fight in his 11th fight, a popular singer & a Hollywood actor by 21 years old! You could not make his story up.

he ended up penniless like a lot of fighters of them days,in fact he was bouncing in various london niteclubs for sometime and he ended up hitting the bottle towards the end of his life. a irish fighting and strongman legend butty surgue who owned pubs took him in for a while and then he ended up living in a old london cab and being destitute in london and died penniless. and this was a man who was married to movita a big hollywood starlet of her day,she went onto marry marlon brando,so the man had done it all and i cant believe their has never been a film made on his life !
