Emile Griffith vs Wilfred Benitez

Post by Victor*KC »

I don't think Benitez moves his feet enough to beat Griffith. Emile might have struggled at times with movers, but Benitez wasn't your traditional mover. He was the kind of guy who liked to plant his feet and make you miss. Griffith wouldn't miss the body very often though and he'd wear down Benitez and might even stop him. Regardless of the outcome close fight but im going with Emile by TKO in the late rounds

I'd take Griffith by close decision.
