I am trying to form a amateur boxing squad as a youth program in my home town. Eventually I want it to include amateur mma as well. But, first and foremost, I want information as to how to be registered as a official team with USA Boxing, so we can do legally sanctioned amateur shows.

If you have a gym, the amateur boxers and gym should be registered with USA Boxing through your LBC (local boxing committee) registration person. If you don't know who the LBC is or have a contact number, go to http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Boxing and click on "about us" and national staff and then membership services and you will find the names and numbers of people who can help you. FYI, USAB will not be able to help you with the mma stuff nor sanction a mma show.
