If a "great friend" of mine acted like that, I'd kick the poo out of him.
Why is he insulting Ricky Hatton ? He has a problem with Richard Poxon, you are reading too much into it, everyone knows Hatton does not have the right people running things, that's why they have had so much problems and Poxon is one of them Schaefer is not the first person Poxon has upset and he won't be the last.

He's insulting Ricky in exactly the same way you just have.
Grow up, no one is insulting yah boyhood hero, just stating the facts about a boxing promotional company, like Schaefer has, who happens to run the biggest boxing promotional company in the world, I would have to say that he is more qualified then you to speak on the subject, if you don't like accurate opinions, maybe you should not be on a boxing forum, don't let emotion overide intelligence.

Macho - another 17 post wonder who clearly has an underlying reason to stick the boot in.
How could it be anything but insulting ?
Richard P isn't even the CEO Ricky H is !
Richard S is on the back foot because he's not sorting a real fight out for Quillan. Perfect attempt at deflecting.

What I wrote is that Schaefer has little class to come out in public and say what he said, in the manner he did, about the current state of his "great friend's" business. I'm right.
No one said you did ? Just outlining that he was qualified to do so, yet again you are reading too much into it.

Yet another Troll, spends all his time looking up my posts first before he comments, Why would I have an underlying reason to stick the boot in ? Are we talking about Ricky Hatton or Richard Poxon here ? Now either you are a mate of Macho or another Alias of him, now I am reading too much into things, get my Point ? Alliances or Aliases spoil debate and show insecurity.

I am not an alias of Macho.
I have never met him nor do I know who he is, but I have debated with him on many subjects and respect his opinion.
You are being paranoid.

Some of the top people in boxing get too used to having their own way; who gives a monkeys if Schaefer doesn't like or respect Poxon? You can't please all the people all the time and some people are always looking to throw their weight about - the CEO of GoldenBoy a massive concern getting his diaper in a twist over what? FFS

What's Poxon had to say about it all? For all we know it was legitimate reason for turning fight down. Silence sometimes speaks volumes though

I've not seen him say anything about it and because he's cleverer than given credit for he'll probably keep his true feelings quiet; Schaefer is a powerful man and they can cause problems if their vanity is upset; no doubt Poxon will keep on doing what he needs to do and let someone else sort out the issue if there is some sort of personal beef.
