Hola Enrique,

No soy cubano, pero casi. Soy dominicano.

Pernell Withaker http://www.geocities.com/pedrinet/whitaker.html

También actualicé nuevos datos a:
Mike Tyson http://www.geocities.com/pedrinet/tyson.html

Espero que los disfruten,

Pedro

There is no site or archive that has amateur boxing records. I can tell you if a boxer has had national or international experience, but that's the extent. It would be impossible to keep track of 20,000+ boxers and all their wins and losses.

Sorry, but I don't speak or read Spanish. I'm sure your information is worth knowing, too.

I request excuses by my English, is bad and I write up with the aid of a translator on line. I saw the page by Venceremos. Is real good. Hopefully something could be done thus here, a species of Boxrec amateur but, between that they fight without license, those that invent so that they appear the 40 happy fights in the license, required condition to be professional, those that hides because they go without license, or with another name and a pile of irregularities more, is very difficult to make the record correctly. It is more, the other Argentine publisher, Renato Gulli, has 5 fights amateurs without license.

Thanks for posting the translation - I also had your post translated for my own understanding. Boxrec initially contacted me about adding amateur boxing records to its database. I don't know if John is actually going to implement this feature, or not. About the only records you can verify are results of international or national events, providing there is someone who is keeping track of that information. Every boxer in the U.S. MUST have a passbook where each and every bout, and the results, are noted each and every time he or she competes. I know this is not always the case in other countries. For instance, some countries have only an AIBA book for their boxers international events but do not keep track of local show results. I don't think totally accurate amateur records will ever be available, but at least it can be known who the elite boxers were by the international events they participate in.
