Nongmai Sor Siriporn

What is the deal with this girls record? :-? BoxRec shows here as 0-0, the WBC shows her record as 8-0. I personally was told "BoxRec has limited access" by a WBC official so what gives? How on earth could this girl fight 8 fights and be ranked #3 without no one ever submitting an official record? :x

None of her fights have ever been added. Nothing else I can really say. It could be due to none of the editors having anything on her or it could be that they just haven't gotten to her yet. If you have any information on her fights, please post them here and an editor will attempt to confirm them and we'll get her record as up to date as possible.

Or it could be because the WBC is full of shit. I don't doubt that at all.

After the fight, Sor Siriporn flat out stated "I didn't expect to win, after all it was only my first pro fight."

Once again the nimble hands of Suliaman work the magic pen oh so well...

Well, the right hand/man doesn’t seem to know what the left is doing. :roll:
In the Mexican Tabloid “Esto” interview about the WBC convention in Spain,
Jose Sulaiman gave props to BoxRec.
http://www.oem.com.mx/esto/051008/box/3box.asp
In a nutshell the artice translates;

“The Britain John Sheppard, who assisted the annual congress with his very beautiful wife Mariana and a charming seven month old baby, gave a spectacular report about his internet page boxrec.com. Same page we have been talking about for some time now, for the great help that provides, besides being free.
His electronic page includes the suspensions to the boxers, either from the local commissions or foreign ones.
“With knowledge comes power, and with this we can protect the boxers better” commented.”

Sure as hell sounds like more than limited access to me. :o
But then, :roll: let’s see if we get Nongmai Sor Siriporn’s 8-0 record. :wink:
