Chisora is no big name though and is more of a journey man stroke weak gate keeper and only meant something because of the fracas in germany...Horse wrote:It's based mostly on proven ability.
Haye beat Chisora impressively last July. If he beats Fury this month then I think he'll deserve to keep his ranking, if he loses then he'll drop.

I think Murray controversially losing to Martinez is better than Barker narrowly beating Geale and I'd pick Murray to beat Barker as well.
McDonnell just needs to step up his level of opposition a bit.
but barker lost narrowly to a younger Martinez and is now world champion whether based on a SD on geale ..... so i suppose you can argue on opinion when judging tight positioning... er i have barker decision close v Murray ;)
hmmmm all that said mcdonnell is world champion and he does deserve to bit higher than bellew, however its a hard job to derive at a table when its all pretty bunched up.... so i appreciate your hard work mate
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2013
Being a world champion has more credibility then your opinion and should without question be above Murray 100%...... being a reigning WORLD champion!?!?!?

Burns is a clear top 5 British fighter.macaca wrote:Cannot argue with No 1

I personally don't think Burns is good but there is no doubt he is top 5 in the UK look who he has beaten and look where they are ranked in the lightweight division.ThereByTheGrace wrote:I agree with this wholeheartedly. He's average at best.Horse wrote:macaca wrote:Cannot argue with No 1

I've no real disagreement with the rankings but why ask for feedback if it is automatically disregarded?Horse wrote:My opinion matters more than world titles in these rankings.simonsays wrote:Being a world champion has more credibility then your opinion and should without question be above Murray 100%...... being a reigning WORLD champion!?!?!?

Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2013
Not sure how barker is below Murray. Better record pre the step up to world titles and now beaten a guy, who beat Sturm...something Murray couldn't do...and that was no robbery.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2013
Murray did better than Barker against Martinez and I thought he deserved the nod against Sturm.stujones wrote:Not sure how barker is below Murray. Better record pre the step up to world titles and now beaten a guy, who beat Sturm...something Murray couldn't do...and that was no robbery.
I scored Sturm vs Geale to Sturm, so I don't consider Geale to be a better fighter than Sturm.

The moment you wrote that your opinion matters more than world titles in these rankings was the point they became a bit of a waste of time IMO.
People offer the feedback sought, then you just answer with subjective opinion to disagree.

I rate Murray higher than Barker. I don't care if Barker has the IBF title, it doesn't make him better.

A lot of credibility lost I'm afraid. I used to really enjoy looking through your p4p list but your thinking with you heart not you head and your list proves that. ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
