I'd imagine Kenny Anderson is intimidating in person.

He's alright when you meet him in person. Dry wit and he knows he has a rep and uses it to crack a few jokes. Gomez and Magee are also pretty approachable. Magee growled at me when I mentioned the Hatton fight, but he was cool and really chatty. Most fighters fall into the same category, they're friendly enough.

I think he is sick of talking about it to be honest. Should have won that fight and genuinely could have if only he’d lived the life.

Apart from the hook he walked onto, Hatton won it well enough, Magee was not good enough on the night, hate when people say " If he had lived the life " It's rubbish, most fighters don't live the life, in fact some world champions don't live the life, Hatton was one of them, Magee never did anything of note anyway.

Earnie Shavers because of his power

I always felt Lennox was intimidating because of his massive size as well as his power. His range was unprecedented and then when opponents got inside he'd throw that uppercut...I'm not a boxer but I've always thought the combination of size and power to be intimidating. The Klitschkos fit in here.

Of course he's already been said but Tyson epitomizes this. His fight with Spinks is a perfect example.

Remember seeing a story about Kostya Tszyu from someone who was at one of his fights, during the ringwalk, they touched his glove, said he just looked at him and that it felt like he'd looked right down to the bottom of his soul, like staring death in the face.

I wouldn't particularly relish a staredown with a prime Frank Bruno personally, however, Tyson Fury would amuse me greatly, until he hit me. Too tall.

I once saw Eric Teymour and another Georgian fighter, a heavyweight whose name escapes me now, standing in a street in Bayswater looking like they'd just been to an audition for "menacing Eastern European heavies".

He looked the part, and was a tough fighter.

Harrison was intimidating, his face just reeks of someone who has had a hard life and his wee pinhole eyeballs seem to stare right through anything infront of them.

Tyson in his prime was definitely the master of intimidation, no-one comes close to that. He had his opponents family in fear never mind the opponents themselves.

When I shook hands with Mike Tyson I made a point of looking him right in the eye and both he and Roberto Duran are absolutely menacing. They are intense that's the only way I can describe it, with Tyson I just got the impression that he was a man battling himself. I got that with Duran too a little.

I've met lots of people and boxers and they stood out as having the most menace. Sugar ray Leonard was just a wonderful, warm person. In complete contrast to those above.

I know Mike Gomez and Kenny Anderson very well and they are great guys when you know them. Family men actually who are a lot less dangerous then the smarmy politicians who run this country behind charming smiles.
