Could David Price join Team Matchroom?

Post by jackukmma »

Seems to be having a shakeup at the minute and Eddie has always seemed quite fond of him. His interview yesterday got me thinking. He mentions a domestic Heavyweight fight will be on the Hull bill. When asked about Price in the past he said he would get him away from the pressure in Liverpool if it was up to him defending his British as his next step. He's got a big announcement next week. Probably me putting 2+2 together and getting 5 but I reckon it may be Price joining the team.

Yeah in November. A lightweight and heavyweight domestic bouts will be on card. Obviously the lightweight one will be Tommy Coyle but he doesn't have a HW he can throw into a domestic scrap really, unless he's overstating Joshua

Doubt it, he's with Hennessey.

I thought when he said that, that was what he was hinting at.

It makes alot fof sense Jack aso I can see why you think he might wanting to sign David Price as he has dropepd Franny Smith and going to be discussing his options with Frank Maloney because I think his contract may be up with Maloney so it could be a serious possibility. As for whether Price's next fight would involve him getting his Lonsdale outright, I think it would more likely be a 8 or 10 rounder to get his confidence back up and rounds in the bank before taking the Lonsdale belt outright.
