Burns would have probably beaten Broner.
I disagree.

How many "bad performances" do we give him before we do say "maybe he is only this good?"

Beating the likes of Nicky Cook and Kevin Mitchell doesn't make him world class, draw with Beltran doesn't make him world class either. To be world class you must beat world class fighters, been a while since Ricky did that on merit.
I didnt suggest he wasnt on the slide im saying writing off a man who had fought JMM and Guerrero within the year previous to fighting burns as an unimpressive victory is nonsense. How shot do you have to be to go the distance with guerrero (6 months before)?
Going the distance with Guerrero? Really, that's the measure of shotness? Going the distance with Guerrero says more about Guerrero's power than how shot/unshot Katsidis was, at best Katsidis won 3 rounds against Guerrero in what was a painful beating, like the one he took against Marquez. The fact Katsidis looked like crap against Mensah in his next fight and then failed a medical should tell you he was on a quick downward

He has a decent chance of beating anyone at lightweight.

He got beaten up in both of those fights though. He dropped Marquez with a good shot but then got a beating after that and Guerrero pretty much dominated him. Also, those are two very tough fights that probably took a lot out of him! Well nearly every fight with him probably did as he was a face first fight! Ha.
What are you on man? he came back after his loss to guerrero to wipe out a man who had beaten the legendary felipe gonzalez and beat him in 3 rounds.

I think Horse forgot to add " In Glasgow" to the end of the sentence.

Team Band Camp would make an arse of Burns, no judges would need to do that for him.
