Indeed. On top of that, he's got sh*t defense. A very bad combination in Boxing. Weak chin + Poor defense = Early KO losses.

Mitchell's never gonna be a top guy, he could make some decent money fighting FNF type fights...but his management definitely needs to match him with guys with no better than a 50% KO ratio...and a few KO losses on their record.

It doesn't help when you get hit flush from a strong heavyweight.
True, but if his chin weren't so horrible he wouldn't turn to jelly whenever he's touched.

Maybe Mitchell should challenge Arreola to a pushup contest. That's the only way he could compete.

Don't feel bad.. I had KO,10.. I figured it'd go until someone got gassed and sloppy.

Right before the fight I thought I better change my predictor thing to KO 1 for Arreola. Why didn't I trust my instincts why?

Same for me!
Come on, can we do it retroactively, JCS? Please?
:)
I figured Arreola'd be lazy for a bit, get outworked and then KO him.

Yet another case when it probably would've been a good idea for me to use one of my 2x bonuses. Basically though after the Stiverne thing, my confidence in Arreola for any fight is always shaky at best

No funny business in the PTBF. I may support PEDs in baseball, but the PTBF is always by the book. :yay:

I don't really see any stylistic similarity between Canelo and Hatton that makes me think it would be like that at all. I figure it'll resemble the DLH and Cotto fights if it's gonna resemble any of Floyd's previous fights.

DetroitHxC wrote:The DLH and Cotto fights were nothing alike, so I really don't see what they hell you are talking about.

Canelo fights a lot like Hatton IMO. He's young, has a lot of wins before stepping onto the BIG stage, and has an untested chin. He's like a clone of Hatton.
They were alike in the sense that DLH and Cotto both tried to box Floyd from mid-range for the most part while Hatton did his thing and tried to get inside and maul him.

Canelo is more likely to try to box Floyd from mid-range than try to maul him on the inside.

At any rate. All of this talk will mean nothing in a week. We'll know exactly what will or won't happen.

I don't think he'll go about it as sloppy as Hatton though. He's more technically sound than Hatton.

I thought they were also alike in terms of competitiveness; 8-4 for me in both.
