Talking over the corner talk!

Post by Eddy »

Who else gets the hump when during the mins break the commentators talk over the trainers talking to the fighters. I've always been interested in what's beign said. It also gives you a picture how the corner thinks the fights going. Then you get Jim Watt spouting rubbish all over it!

I don't like commentators talking during the entrances and introductions either, it's like they're trying to find something to say when there isn't anything, if there's nothing to say, keep quiet.

Hear 'em a lot better if they'd shut up!

"Apologies for the language" There's 2 men in a ring punching each other in the face, if people are watching that, they don't give two shits about the language in the corner.

There was a good lost in translation one on Saturday night. Nick Halling apologised for the language after Billy Nelson had shouted, "Pass me the bucket!"

I get more aggrieved when SKY take a 30 second commercial break between rounds, especially on their PPV shows!

Agree with that. No excuse for putting ads in between rounds on through the PPV fights. Money grabbing bastards!

Yeah, that gets me.

There's a watershed. After 9pm, you might see stuff with violence, bad language or 'scenes of a sexual nature'. That's what the watershed is for. So you know not to let your kids watch after that time.

There's absolutely no need to apologise for language at 10.30pm at night.

A lot could be achieved by simply replacing Jim Watt's doom-laden blarings with silence
