Thank you Johnny Nelson
For speaking the truth after the fight. Other pundits beat around the bush and try to defend the home man but Johnny told it how it is. That's what they should do. Don't think Eddie would of been to pleased though ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

But did he deserve the draw?
Re: Thank you Johnny Nelson
Go on twitter he of no knowledge!! Both Hearns Junior and Senior have said they thought Burns lost. Hearns senior is stating that the RIGHT thing should happen and a rematch ordered.Tom Ford wrote:WelshJack wrote:Eddie said on iFilm that Burns didn't win.smiling assassin wrote:For speaking the truth after the fight. Nelson's final WBO title defence was a worse decision that Beltran vs Burns. The WBO judges gifted Johnny a home town draw and he then retired as champ. Disgraceful verdict. He was big enough to acknowledge this last night, but at the time he talked crap and claimed he'd won.......

I believe the fight your talking about was against Guillermo Jones. It was not his last defense (he made 3 more after it). His opponent tested positive for PED after the fight tho. I remember that fight, I thought Jones edged it, this was a way worse decision though.
