Jr. Younan was smart going pro leaving behind a totally destroyed amateur system who failed these kids who spend their time & money training, traveling & staying in school. The 2016 NOlympics doesnt look any better. The young kids should turn pro early like in college basketball or over extend your stay in the amateurs and shorten your stay as an elite pro making money.

Yup & more should leave. I blogged back in 2009 that 2012 would be a medal-less year because of what was going on. The truth is coming to light.

U mean we had 2 secure a Cuban National Coach to fix USAB? Doubt if he dishonor his country & give the complete blueprint. Them ol' geezers run this program & thats where we screwed. Cant erase what happened from 2004-2012. IT RUINED OUR PROGRAM!! Now our kids fighting with no headgear? Get out NOW!! Aint no Pedro Roque saving our kids from taking head blows like John Tate did in the Olympics in 1976 . Youtube John Tate vs Teofilio Stevenson. Tate suffered a lethal KO & was never the same in the pros. Want proof? Youtube John Tate vs Mike Weaver. Tate was winning the fight 14 1/2 rounds straight until he was KO'd less thsn a minute left in the fight. Tate never recovered from The Cuban Stevenson. Go pro kids GO PRO. Pedro is a good man but his countrymen were the last to expose USAB without headgear. I wonder.....I TOLD EVERYONE IN 2009 THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN TO OUR PROGRAM!! Other nations slowly taking over the pro scene as well.
