But....but...but he got lucky against Khan

In all seriousness, Garcia is a very good fighter. He isn't great at much, but he is good at a lot of things and not bad at anything.

Good win for Danny Garcia. Didn't expect that outcome either.

Thought it was a bit disrespectful for Danny's corner to be screaming " YOU BOXED THE SHIT OUT OF HIM AND HE KNOWS IT" over and over as the two fighters embraced and congratulated each other after the fight. I thought it might've been his dad as hes known to be a 'character' but it might have been another one of the corner.

I put a tenner double on Mayweather and Garcia - odds weren't great, got 11/4 on Mayweather and 9/4 Garcia but a wins a win :)

 It's 1/4, I know there's not much coming back from it but it's made me happy.

I wasn't surprised at all at the result and am kicking myself today for not putting a little money on it- I was amazed yesterday to find Garcia was the underdog. I believed him to be smart and sturdy enough, and with enough power, to come through Matthysee's clubs and outpoint him.

I am on a good run of form predicting Garcia results, now dating back to the Khan KO.

As for his future, perhaps the next dismal points loser to Mayweather? (assuming Alexander whacks Khan in December, which I am confident he will do)

Tbh my best scenario would be khan beats Alexander and has a rematch with garcia... im not going to even guess who wins that one ...but whoever it is will lose against mw...

Very true. A win is a win. Would have loved to have had a bit of 11/4 though.

There's no real body of evidence to suggest Khan can survive a strong all-rounder like Alexander, particularly given his increasing frailty. Khan tends to talk about rematches without genuinely pursuing them, at least to my eyes, but whatever- if the road to Mayweather is Alexander and Garcia then he crashes and burns long before the end destination.

If Khan does crash and burn though and doesn't get a bout with Floyd (that he'd lose heavily) then he has still had a fantastic and lucrative career - he's not had his 27th birthday yet (though reading The Sun today he has a bit of growing up to do).

I would say Judah is a strong allrounder ok not the level of Alexander but nonetheless took garica all the way and started to make an impact in the final rounds... also i am not saying Khan will beat Alexander but i would like to see Khan v Garcia as i think that would generate money and interest.. however all lose against MW

yeah cant argue with that has made his money .... i just hoped more from Khan with such an offence thats spoilt with such a weak inside game..

If you're only as good as your last fight then Khan will lose to Alexander. However Khan may just be able to hold the shots well enough to rush-combo his way to a tight win.

Or he might end up making Alexander look like a heavy puncher. It's an interesting fight at least.

People are going to have to start giving Garcia some real credit, he's been a VERY under-rated fighter up until now.

i was really impressed he boxed when he needed to box and prett ymuch made Mattyhse look a bit one dimensional bad eye or not.
His hand speed was excellent.
and he slugged when he needed to.

Might even go as far as to say he is mayweathers toughest test out there now.
