It's nowhere near the same! De la hoya was like an absolute corpse in that fight. Canelo is just getting outboxed.

Alvarez has nothing to offer here. Robert Guerrero put up a better fight.

De La Hoya looked like shit because he fucked his cut up and had trouble putting weight back on. Canelo is looking like shit because he is fighting Floyd Mayweather.

Come on. No chance.
I don't think it will happen, but I wouldn't go that far.

Traditional left-right-left-right cadence is no good against Mayweather. Alvarez needs to double up with the same hand in the corners and show variety. Alvarez's jab hasn't been tight or persistent enough; his elbow's too wide. Heading for 120-110.

Seriously impressive from Mayweather, but he hasn't had it all his own way because he's that good.

The fact he's in his late 30's proves it even more so.

He is that good. Canelo is a very good fighter himself, it's just that Floyd is special.

Because the US beat Mexico at a WC football qualifier earlier this week.

What that has to do with anything? Search me.
