Re: A message from Haye & co to Tyson Fury
Both Haye and Fury can act like dicks at times but i actually think their both quite likeable characters who know boxings an entertainment business and dont take themselves too seriously, they bring some much needed excitement to a pretty dull HW division
David had to play the bad guy to get the Wladamir fight,as Klitschkos a very likeable person also, you need the ying to the yang and all that but since coming out the jungle and crossing over to the mainstream,Davids a lot more of a "good guy" and Fury plays a good "bad guy" and Hayes slipped into the nice guy role comfortably
Tyson on the other hand i find very funny indeed, both when its intentional and unintentional,he could try to be a scary bad guy giving his size and background but its really just his comments that upset people really and i do actually like him and would love to see him on TV more(imagine him in BB or in Im A Celeb
) i know id watch
I think the UKs very lucky that we have the 2 most charasmatic HWs in the world

He made Wilders legs stiffen with that right hand!
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
Post that over on the Current Scene with a catchier headline and that 60 second video will generate about ten pages of lively discussion.

Was that Wilder that looked like he nearly got ironed out from a right hand off of Haye?
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
Yep. Went nice and stiff for a moment.columbo wrote:Was that Wilder that looked like he nearly got ironed out from a right hand off of Haye?
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
I guess we've found out somewhat about his chin then haha. Haye is a big puncher we know but that was with headgear and big gloves aswell.crusader wrote:Yep. Went nice and stiff for a moment.columbo wrote:Was that Wilder that looked like he nearly got ironed out from a right hand off of Haye?

I don't fancy furys chances after watching haye sparring there
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
Yeah I thought he looked very good there. It's obvious they've picked out the highlights but his head movement and slipping off the punches was impressive to me.the truth wrote:I don't fancy furys chances after watching haye sparring there

It looked like he nearly knocked wilder clean out. It was only seconds but Wilder seems so wild excuse the pun. I do feel someone with a decent chin and boxing brain can take him out
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
My thoughts exactly. Completely happy with sticking to my prediction of a KO by Haye before the halfway stage.columbo wrote:Yeah I thought he looked very good there. Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
i thought haye looked over weight to me , he needs speed to beat fury not weight . is he taking fury likely
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
In Fairness Fury is better than those 3.. Wouldn't really get to do what he did to Wilder as Fury will stick out that jab.. It's ok putting up the best bits of footage but these are paid sparring partners they are not in their to knock Hayes head off and he knows that. There's a rumour that Wilder knocked Haye out in sparring goes both ways.. His sparring looks good lets hope Fury isn't a fool and shows his footage.. Haye is trying to play mind games as Fury seems to be winning this side if things be interesting to see Fury's reaction
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
I'm not so sure, wouldn't confidently back Fury to beat Wilder, Dimitrenko or Wachdaviddee wrote:In Fairness Fury is better than those 3.. Either way, the sparing clips haven't changed my mind on this fight
Re: Haye training & sparring video for Tyson Fury
Yeah, but where did the rumour come from? I could start a rumour and you'd probably believe that too.daviddee wrote:In Fairness Fury is better than those 3.. Wlad is known for sacking sparring partners after a day or two. Richard got well paid for 4 weeks and now Haye is paying him well for 6 weeks. You're entitled to your opinion though.the truth wrote:Towers is poo

How does it show that ?forcefraser wrote:Haye looks tiny compared to the three big lads. It shows that size doesn`t really matter, but speed and power are the key.
You would not want to be a doorman if those four turned up at a club looking for trouble.
And didnt Wilder have haye Koed in sparring ?
Re: A message from Haye & co to Tyson Fury
I like and respect Towers' approach. It's sensible and, almost certainly, shrewd. He's putting himself about, learning and earning as he goes. It's a pity he's not fighting a bit more regularly than he is, but there's every chance he'll be pulling in more on the sparring circuit than he would if he concentrated on building his record. He'll already have a good network, it's a shame for him that he probably couldn't get into the US, but there's a good enough heavyweight scene in Euroland to keep him occupied.Pugilist-specialist wrote:Wlad is known for sacking sparring partners after a day or two. Ha cheesy or not I like this vid gets me in the mood
we need more things for fights like this spice up boxing everyone obviously watched it once or twice (to notice the effect Haye punches hadon wilder or vice versa etc)
Too much negativity sometimes everyone should be excited we moan about the heavyweight scene then get a fight like this and still moan, this is a big fight biggest since Bruno vs Lewis ( I think? :?? )
Can't wait
