Why has Murray got a criminal record?

Yup, fucked him up once already going to the USA, therefore can envisage issues with Australia for sure, for me for what it is worth, it is bullshit not granting a licence for the weekend and temp travel visa for a week or something in these instances, they get the tax money from it.

I think he was asking why Murray has a criminal record! ..... Craig, for what it's worth I think he get onto fights when he was younger and got done for assault. Think he spent some time inside for it. This was when he was younger though obviously.

Tower's was a bad conviction though. He spent like 10 plus years or something in prison for kidnapping and some kind of torture I think.

Hatton may not deserve me asking such a cynical question but i wonder if he is deliberately lining up fights for his boxers that can't go ahead for reasons beyond his control, so he has the "hey, I'm doing my best mate" cop out excuse when the fighter complains of inactivity ? there seems to be no prospect of a uk show staged by Ricky. Murray should be headlining in his home city against a decent but beatable opponent between now and xmas, before a third world title fight in 2014. What the chuffing hell is he doing heading down under ?!

Ricky seems terrified of putting on a british show. Must have seriously burnt fingers after last time.

Isn't it so there is no breach of contract? Don't quote me on that I am not a manager or promoter but if they are seen trying to match fights then things happen out of their control ie injury, visa etc its much harder to be released?

Mayweather has spoken about coming to UK but if he fights Khan we know the result but we wanna see a real test, why not Murray who pushed(if not beat) Martinez 1 of best P4P fighters?
Then we will look at him as a ATG

Think Murray has got those Visa issues sorted now for the America just in time for Golovkin if he takes it. Wood is nothing special whatsoever. He's lost convincingly to Mundine and Soliman in the past 24 months and shouldn't be anymore than a breeze for Murray.

Plus Hatton has Hooper and Hammond so they should be on the undercard and they'll draw big Down Under. Kind of makes sense for Hatton but I agree it's a little worrying that he hasn't put on a show in the UK even with a tv deal in place.
