Amateur trainer Sid Mitchell

Post by Eddy »

Me and my brother drink with Sid. He used to train fighters around the Peckham area. Any one remember him? Sid Mitchell

He's in his 70's now.

I remember Sid, really really nice fella, he looked after Ray and Norman Collins twins who could of been the biggest thing in boxing had they not gone off the rails........ I boxed Tony Lowe one of his fighers twice, got beat the first time in the SE Schools my first time, the following year boxed out of my boots and won. Sid was a really good trainer, very passionate and looked after his boys........ please send him my regards
