Haye v Fury rescheduled

Post by WelshJack »

Thank god for that, hopefully even though I wasn't too concerned they will put a better undercard together.

Just seen that "Things are now finally looking up, as a rescheduled date for me to beat up Dyson Fury is very close to being officially made"

Can't say I'm surprised. There was too much money in it for it to be off for good.

What a waste of make up.

If its 25th jan its a bit further away than I would have liked but tyson will probably take a keep warm fight. I would prefer december because theres a chance both haye and fury could end up fighting the winner of wlad v povetkin. More likely fury as wlad should win, however if povetkin wins haye is likely to be offered a shot.

December was always very unlikely given the proximity of Xmas and the Froch-Groves fight at the end of November. Sky wouldn't want to do 2 big PPV events within a few weeks, while there is no tradition of big fights over the festive period. Mid to late January was always the best option.

They have done well to find a date that early at the MEN.

I bloody hope so lets hope it comes off by then. With the inactivity of Haye, im sure Fury will fight again beofre hand to keep active I think Fury has a better chance to be honest. If Fury does fight again beforehand I'm sure we will get a better judgement of his capability. Also that cut over Haye's eye is nasty and could easily reopen, could mean less sparring also.

I would be swayed towards a Fury win TBH on the inactivity of Haye.

Fury to take a warm up, but Haye won't because he might get chinned.

So much to the people that said it could be arranged for a month or so time! I knew it would end up being 3 months or more.

It was pretty obvious that a cut of that nature wasnt going to heal in a few weeks and be capable of holding up to a fight.

didn't look especially deep to me, this said it had already been mostly closed up in the picture that I saw.

I think a month or so like were some were hoping for would of been very optimistic though.

What is trolling? Do you think Haye will risk taking a fight in between?

If you agree he won't take a fight in between then please do say.

i think people were just really hoping it was a bit of a knick that could heal and just knock the fight on a month more like wishful thinking on my behalf, but realistically it was only ever going to be 3 or so months.

trolling is saying the same comments over and over again like a 12 year old, with silly little insults. We get the point you dont like haye if you just want to troll about haye constantly go and post on the current scene with the other muppets.

And you keep saying I am 12, does that make you a troll? Do we have Kermit and Ms Piggy posting here? Wow, that's good.

This is the first comment about him not talking a fight in between.
