I'm shocked nobody has said Flintoff.
Re: retirted unbeaten..........but without any significant title
A detached retina did for him otherwise he would have gone on to at least European level but at least he won a Lonsdale beltdeadpan wrote:Horace Notice.
Re: retirted unbeaten..........but without any significant title
The fact that Hughroy Currie dropped him was a significant worry, but it would've been interesting seeing him progress.

Craig Denton from Hartlepool, I think he turned it in because he wasn't making any money out of the game. I believe he is an MMA fighter now, but I doubt he makes more money out of that than conventional boxing.....

Jermal Hinton, was a Kronk prospect. Think he retired due to his religous beliefs

He posted himself only last week, oddly. He said not, but didn't come back to say why he did retire...

Darlo's Louis Welch was 2-0-1 when he stopped boxing.
He went on to be one of the top bareknuckle fighters in the UK. He even boxed Tim Witherspoon in an exhibition.

I know very young to state if he fits into this thread, just wondering whats happened to him?
His medicals showed something wrong with his heart. Something like a murmur or a hole. Nothing life threatening but enough to fail his medical to be a pro. He now runs a very popular, very successful 'white collar' gym in Newport in an old church hall. Its actually a very well equipped gym. he's done well with grants and sponsors and such like. He regularly puts shows on and they get good crowds.
He would have been very, very good.
Re: retirted unbeaten..........but without any significant title
Possibly, I think they said he runs a firm, so he might be happy to do that rather than get punched in the head for a living.rhino222 wrote:I bet he fights again...!!expe wrote:Won the European title though, I'd consider that to be significant.danconnollyeire wrote:Alexander Frenkel
