Yeah but your promoter eddie hearn did.
he can suggest all he likes but Ricky will be staying at Lightweight
How did your hair washing go Billy?? You missed a good night was even a wee joke by the comedian at Ricky's expense you would of hit the roof. First fight wasn't the best fight to watch with Ryan looking for that big shot and Barry trying to box behind a jab and countering well. Ronnie's fight was a cracker. I never expected Rogowski to be so game a lot better than I expected. He tried some rough housing and kept using the Head and was very lucky not to get disqualified. He was throwing bombs but Ronnie worked well picking him off and some excellent inside boxing. Ronnie raised the tempo in the 5th round with Rogowski struggling to stay with the tempo and the big punches he was taking. A straight right Jab followed with a left hand through the middle put Rogowski down. He was lucky to beat the count. He got to continue and Ronnie went in for the finish and got it a few seconds later. What a tough guy the Polish guy was very very strong and can see why he had a winning record and never been stopped.. The main event never let us down.. This was the best condition I have seen Kris in always thought he looked small for the weight but he certainly looked like he had filled out more since last time I seen him fight. He controlled the fight from the start not giving the Polish boy any chance to set himself. Again this Polish boy was very tough some of the body shots he took were incredible I thought he was going to go a good few times.. Only downside is the food wasn't as good as the last time it's far too fusy. Parsnip and Apple soup who thinks of this stuff? Apart from that I enjoyed the night the strict dress code is silly a few boys had to buy Bow ties and one had to borrow a suit through there!! It has given us something to joke about so let's look on the positives

You know and everyone knows TG is insanely jealous of Ricky's success and even embarrassingly uses Ricky's name to try and big his fighters.
this is one of the main reasons Alex Morrison is signing the best up and coming fighters in Scotland through Ricky's success.
If TG and AM put a fighter at each weight catagory it would be a landslide win for AM

Billy your so defensive!! I don't get it mate. If someone is cracking a joke about you it means you've made it. See the funny thing we are all Ricky Burns fans! It's just too funny not to wind you up. See if your in the house and your mrs starts talking about something random like the shopping do you go mental and say what about Ricky Burns he's a far better shopper than anyone you have seen?? In fairness the joke was about all the home lads winning because it was the same judges from the Burns fight. Can you not even bring yourself to saying well done to the 3 lads on their victories??

Apart from the fact he has no one at Super Feather who would beat Ronnie Clark.. Go run through the weights Billy because your barking up the wrong tree there I believe. Apart from Featherweight John Simpson.. Lightweight Ricky Burns and Cruiserweight Stevie Simmonds what other weights?

I think we should do a boxrec charity fundraiser.
Each member donates a quid if two things happen.

1: Billy doesnt mention rickys name or any of scotlands promotors names for 7 days.

2: Davidee doesnt mention Ronnie for 7 days.

Although I reckon our quids are safe lads. Lol

Theres not a middle/super middle that David Brophy wouldn't beat, John Simpson would beat Ronnie,Slowey would beat most feathers even though he lacks power he is skilful.simmonds obviously I'd bet him to beat big Gary as well.
I know you think Ronnie would beat John mate but he wouldn't Johns to experienced for him at this point in time anyway

They were fully expected to win Davie come on pal, Ronnie is capable of fighting much better, whether he's capable of winning remains to be seen but fighting these opponent after fighting better opponents doesn't look good, again just my opinion.
remember 4-6 months ago Ronnie was going to fight Liam Walsh which would have been the making of him and would have told us if he has it to win a domestic title, surely even you with your Dundee glasses can see that

I do think Brophy is the best middleweight we have. Would be a good we scrap with Gary McAllum right enough but Brophy would win. Simpson is best featherweight by a mile. He would walk through slowey. There's a couple of Superfeathers that could all have good fights between them.

Rewind the clock to when Billy was training Roberts and wonder who he would have picked in that question!

Well what do you expect? A trainer saying he expects his fighter to lose is hardly going to fill him with confidence.

And an ex trainer saying he would lose could also be seen as sour grapes.

Fair play answering Billy. You did say Roberts would have schooled Clark a year ago and since then had a pop at Ronnies opponents since, so god know how your mind managed to change. Or maybe you always knew the boy Clark would have beat him but couldn't admit that while you still had micheal. Do you know the latest on John Simpson? Heard hel be boxing soon for title?

It's simple Emma's Ronnie has improved and I've seen that in the gym.
Zits not a matter of rewinding anything mate Roberts is a good fighter and a fight with the two would be a very good watch

It could be seen that way, but while I don't know the reasons for the split, if Roberts changed trainers, I don't see much for Billy to be bitter about, he's not making big money and hasn't looked like he will go past domestic level.

Ive seen plenty of both and believe it would be a good clash of styles. If Roberts was at his best he could outbox Ronnie but over a longer distance Ronnie could maybe out work him. I would say it would be a 50-50 fight but the Ronnie squad on here will out vote me and make it look like an easy nights work for him. I know people are gonna start with "Ronnies boxing is under rated" and ronnie can do this and do that but Billys gave his opinion, ive gave mine. Simple as that.

Ronnies style would be good to see in prizefighter. Id like to see him get a crack at that.

Not really got much to say in response to that to be honest I know for a fact you have said Ronnie could beat Liam Walsh and John Simpson. If you trained Ronnie you would be saying this but because your not you don't but to be honest your opinion on that doesn't matter because again I know what you have said about the Ronnie v Roberts clash. There is one thing that makes me and you different I say the same to everyone not different to suit whatever occasion that I am in. Fact the Roberts match would end very early. Roberts is a good fighter but Ronnie is all wrong for him and that fight won't happen great management in my eyes. Walsh and Ronnie would be a cracker same as Simpson.. Ronnie could win both but proper 50/50 fights and on experience you would make both Walsh and Simpson favourites. In honesty I think Slowey would lose to Traynor but would be a good fight.. As for Brophy he would be beaten comfortably by McEwan, Carslaw and Thain. As for who Ronnie's last opponent is he has a winning record been in with a couple of very good prospects including the WBO inter continental champion!! Ronnie was the first one to stop him. He can only beat what's put in front of him!!

Watched it online and scored it by one round to willy but it could have went either way. Would like to see that again to be honest.
