Here's my take. For trainers, doing hours and hours on the pads with fighters is the highway to ruined joints (just ask Billy G) and sweaty clothes, it's also not always the ideal position to spot errors. Khan will have got the 'Coach' in on the cheap, if not for free, as it's great publicity for this guy and sure fire way to have his services booked up in the future. Hunter will be on the same take and have to do less physical work. Sounds good to me.

My thoughts exactly, a lot of trainers have bad elbows and hands from holding pads and try to do it as little as possible. I'm sure if Hunter had an issue with this he would have said something before now. Don't read too much into what is basically a press release from Alexander's camp.

Did the Diaz fight prove that? Wasn't it made at 10st 3lb. Maybe he was tight at that weight?
After all, he was a lightweight when he was 16 and 17, moving up two divisions from the ages 17-27 is not exactly a Pacquiao style rise.
Anyway, the problem with Khan is Hunter's confusing instructions, not the weight.

He was a lightweight at the Olympics and at the 2003 World Juniors (Gold Medal), he was a lightweight for years and years and has really filled out, he's wide shouldered and well muscled, putting a stone on in weight from the age of around 15 years old in a decade is not too bad
